    Man that’s tough. The Texas job is as demanding as any in the country. Takes a toll on any family & especially on a spouse. Hope Sark understands he’s got love from the UT community.

    Go all out for recruits you want in the beginning stages. It’s easier to get 3 stars later in the cycle so target some high ranked guys to begin with that either are interested in your program or don’t have another high level offer. It’s all about quality over quantity. If you spread out your points too much then you end up fighting for every single recruit. Hope that little bit helps but it’s hard to go in depth through typing it out here.

    Yikes that sounds bad. I mean props for getting through that lol. I definitely want to start as an OC or DC in one of my next dynasties. Feel like that’s a more natural journey.

    Yea man defense is hard in this game. Especially with lower rated players it can be tough getting stops.

    I like that. Definitely should be able to compete pretty well. I’m struggling in the SEC because an OL 80+ is still getting wrecked lol

    I can only imagine the reaction when you found out you left Texas to take the TCU OC job 😂 but that’s a nice progression. I love the fact that you really gotta put in the work in recruiting in the game. But it does seem much easier with a top 5 program in resources lol. Any plans to do a small school dynasty after the Texas one?

    Where is everybody at with their dynasties so far? I was a little late to the party because the release was at a busy time for me but I’m in season 2 with Vanderbilt as my first real dynasty. Safe to say the SEC is tough. Went 9-4 first season through sim, which was crazy. I only played the Tennessee game (big recruiting weekend). But the 2nd season I’m sitting 6-6 😅 again through sim. Interested to hear about other people & how their dynasties are going.

    CJ is gonna be a beast if he can stay healthy. He also has incredibly soft hands for his build so even though Blue will probably see more work in the passing game, Baxter could certainly surprise some teams with his ability there. Baxter’s also built like a typical SEC bellcow so I think he will bring that physicality needed to get tough yards.

    Yea Gerry doesn’t typically post about a commitment same day when the announcement is happening. But I will say I disagree that him saying Hi would ruin someone’s moment because he’s not saying who committed lol. It was speculation before Kelshaun committed & it’s still speculation now.
