  1. The audacity 😂
  2. I actually think Faraimo can do both & I think nowadays it’s easier to find space LB’s than great mikes imo
  3. As long as we get one of Faraimo or Pettijohn in addition to Barnes then I’ll be happy. Pettijohn has the higher floor & will be likely to maximize, Faraimo has the higher upside imo. I think if Faraimo maximizes he will be special.
  4. We’re slowly being humbled as Texas fans because of the immense pain we inflicted on A&M. Instead of a knockout, we’re suffering from one kick to the nuts after another 😅
  5. I would wager it’s not the hi. Have a feeling the hi was a former Aggie but that’s just my feel.
  6. Phil Knight out here like Oprah. You get a milli, you get a milli, you get a milli. Probably multi millions the way they been getting these top ranked guys over other perceived favorites.
  7. Also, I feel like there’s no possible way that Anding commits to LSU just a few days after receiving the offer. However, if he does then he never truly wanted to come to Texas because his heart was always hoping for LSU. He could have been committed the whole season & had LSU offered the week before signing day he would have signed there. Let’s just hope he gives us a firm commitment on Monday 🤘🏼
  8. I know we’re not comparing Texas right now to Bama under Nick Saban 😂 Saban could walk into any living room in the country, lay out his accolades in terms of championships & all the players he sent to the NFL, & then ask them if they would get a better situation anywhere else. To paint an even clearer picture. Bama didn’t even have a strong NIL aspect of their program under Saban. He still recruited top 3 classes because he’s the GOAT! Even the most avid Texas fans cannot justify a comparison of that nature.
  9. I don’t know who’s being real or trolling on this thread 😂 the post literally says it’s a parody lol. But as a Lakers fan, I’m not even mad picking him at 55. This draft class was the weakest, maybe ever. Not a ton of options or value that late in the 2nd round so why not? I actually like Bronny’s long term upside as a role player. He won’t be a star but I think he can contribute meaningful minutes if he continues to develop. Remember he has started to play well during the season before his heart issue & then was playing well when he came back towards the end of the season.
  10. I would love Hayden Lowe in this class. I know the staff was very high on him as well.
  11. Some very interesting Longhorn recruiting bits from the Rivals event right now. I will post in this thread some X posts of some things that seem very positive for Texas football recruiting 🤘🏼
  12. Bro had that update saved in the drafts 😂
  13. @Gerry Hamilton @CJ Vogel @Bobby Burton @Blake Munroe if y’all haven’t seen this 😂
  14. Disclaimer: this is not Texas football related but it’s recruiting related. I saw this earlier & thought it was too hilarious not to share. Isaiah Gibson (#1 EDGE in 25), had his commitment posted by Hayes Fawcett earlier. Nothing out of the ordinary except the heavy coping out of USC fans. Then I got to the commitment one liner. For example, John Mills’ commitment had this on it: “Made it home🤘🏻 SEC get ready” When Hayes posts, they usually have a line like that about the commitment. Isaiah Gibson said… well I better just show you because I’m dying right now 😂😂😂 Go get ‘em in Athens Mr. Gibson. Would hate for you to end up at any other particular school 😂
  15. Dez in 7on7 seems a tad unfair lol.
  16. Those are some crazy high school matchups
  17. I mean I didn’t say we should choose between the two, but I understand your point. The way I phrased it may have come off as that but I want Fasusi. Let him go was my way of coping if he doesn’t choose us lol
  18. Have a feeling it will be Bama. I think it will be tough for him to say no to his longest standing relationships. BUT prepared for the worst, praying for the best.
  19. Honestly if taking Fasusi this year messes things up with Turntine next year then let him go. Hate to lose a talent at tackle like that but Turntine talent wise looks like the better player. I mean his tape at his age is more impressive than highly rated 5 star tackles in the last decade. Don’t want to mess up getting a generational talent imo.
