  1. I really feel like the constant injuries have really stunted his development & even comfortability on the field in general. He plays like he doesn’t want to get hit if he can help it, so he doesn’t step into many throws under pressure anymore. I really think he needs to bulk up to be able to absorb some of those hits, especially at the next level. That said, I do think he has displayed a level of toughness in spite of all that. I think if he played with more fearlessness but not reckless abandon (thinking about the time last year when he injured his shoulder trying to truck a guy) then I think he can find it & lead us to the natty. But I also wouldn’t be mad if the OL stepped up & gave him a nice clean pocket in the process lol.
  2. Feel like that whole team had a bad year. I think would be worth taking a flyer on if he’s a culture fit. At worst he seems like he could be a great special teams guy with that frame.
  3. Yea I wanted it to work out for him here but I think he’s just behind too many guys on the depth chart & for his progression he definitely needs to see the field more.
  4. Yea our interior OL will need to step up in a big way, given how they were manhandled against Georgia. @Gerry Hamilton do you have any intel on how Neto is doing? I’ve been kind of waiting for the staff to give him some sort of chance because I just don’t see Conner doing well against elite teams, especially in the run game. But they won’t change it this late in the season so I’m more so curious about Neto’s progression.
  5. We should be able to dominate them physically on both LOS given what Georgia did to them earlier this year.
  6. They’re acting like they have no money 😂
  7. Agreed. I think it’s a confluence of events but it’s easy to scapegoat the QB. Even last year against Washington, we had a chance to win the game at the end & we didn’t get it done. But we’re not even in that position if the RB’s don’t fumble twice in the 2nd half. Quinn is by no means the perfect QB, but there are a ton of factors that play into why we lost.
  8. I also think Quinn sometimes does enough to make the plays but doesn’t get the help he needs from the receivers. Who are you confident in at this point of the season making a big catch in a contested situation (which is more frequent in the red zone). It’s Golden & then who else? For me, 1 on 1 coverage in the red zone is an easy back shoulder pass with the type of athletes we have on the outside. For whatever reason, we don’t seem to utilize those throws enough.
  9. Based on what I remember he didn’t see the field as much. Was a smaller body & he ended up being pretty low on the depth chart.
  10. That’s exactly what it is. I get being unhappy or disappointed it didn’t go your way but this is giving spoiled.
  11. The most butthurt part about the whole article was when he was talking about the long term relationship building & if it’s even worth it. He acting like it’s first come first serve 😂
  12. Also, Terry is referring to business outside of football as the business decision. Didn’t mention the money unless prompted to comment on that piece of it. I forgot that Athens rivaled Austin in terms of business connections & so the only determining factor was the money Texas had lined up.
  13. You can even see plain as day that as soon as Terry held the shirt up his dad was already smiling & throwing the horns up. But yea he was totally surprised & faked a very natural excited reaction.
  14. I would love to hear a positive report on Hills. Also, Gullette too.
  15. Glad to hear we’re being run the right way from top to bottom. It certainly feels & seems that way from the outside but a player reaffirming that, especially one that left the program is very encouraging.
  16. Are Georgia fans worse than Aggie fans?? 😂
