    The only way I can see it is if Hurley wins tonight, and there's nothing left to accomplish at UConn in his mind. The conversations with Billy Donovan last summer about trying to repeat, and after if you do would be great to hear/know about. The other thing would be the future of college sports and NIL. What does that look for with UConn? SEC is the best positioned conference for the long haul, and Kentucky is the best job in the SEC - if not the country. I would be surprised if he made the move, but don't know for sure.

    Apparently Arkansas (Tyson family mostly) is going to have Cal operating with 5-6 mill NIL a year over life of his contract. That dog will hunt ... for instance Texas is in the 3 mill range annually. Arkansas cis throwing blue blood money at hoops for the next 4-5 years. Cal's contract + NIL. And I agree with you ... I believe he's about to make a change in that regard to a level. Roster construction the key now a days.

    Texas would prefer to have a couple of two year players out of the portal ... but they have to be good enough in Texas' eyes. Texas doesn't want four one year guys out of the portal for sure. The biggest issue right now is the initial NIL asking prices for guys in the portal is certainly out of control ... like extremely out of control.
