    OnTexasFootball is expecting a top target of the Longhorns to likely commit to USC soon. With that said, Texas will not back off and just keep hanging around the rim. USC is making a huge NIL push to get some top 2026's in the boat early and try to hang on long term. Just like they did in the 2025 class ... which was a struggle with EDGE Isaiah Gibson ending up at Georgia, and DL Justus Terry ending up at Texas.

    OnTexasFootball was waiting for DeAndre Moore Jr. news to come out from Steve Sarkisian today. The Texas WR is not expected to go through spring practice. He had a toe injury that lingered late in the season, and is having that repaired to be 100% for the season. Similar injury to Matthew Golden, and we all saw how well he bounced back.

    I love the trend of hiring NBA assistants in college. The reason is why though? Is it offensive style Is it pro mindset setting up program like a professional organization due to NIL, etc... Or is it ... Colleges aren't going to pay these 4-5 mill (and could be more) buyouts?

    Definitely worth monitoring ... it's not like he's a three year starter that has tons of experience that isn't in need of being full go for spring with three new HS WR's early enrolled and one out of the portal. Obviously there is an issue on some level.
