  1. Chris Simms was a massively important recruit for Mack Brown and Texas at the time. It changed the way people looked at Texas in the recruiting world IMO. He wasn't there for the NC, obviously, but he was a key part of the momentum beginning and happening in recruiting.
  2. I see a guy that is growing on me as a safety prospect at the Power 5 level. When he plays off coverage at corner, you see a guy that can close on the ball, cover ground and closes angles with physicality on contact. See him as a safety more than corner ... in the SEC, and long term as of today. Fact that he only has three offers - Texas Tech, Az State and Minnesota - is surprising after seeing him in person at Texas Junior Day. Junior HUDL; http://www.hudl.com/v/2MwWc0
  3. Because the Big 12 is brutal, I think Texas would definitely get in ... and would be on that 8-9 seed line IMO. Or 10 seed. Their NCAA Net would end up with 5-6 Quad 1 wins depending on how the season plays out, and ranked in top 30 more than likely. Currently No. 33 after all Saturday games... https://www.ncaa.com/rankings/basketball-men/d1/ncaa-mens-basketball-net-rankings
  4. East Texas coach told me to keep an eye on KD Cannon's little brother ... 2026 CB/DB at Mount Pleasant Decorian Thompson sophomore HUDL: http://www.hudl.com/video/3/17958626/6512d8d9dfe31403b4bd4907
  5. With Lance Jackson already in fold and the way they are recruiting Kamauryn Morgan, think those are at the top. Woodfork has upside...more of a stash and develop prospect for a year or two in the SEC. He's got the long levers. Texas will use spring evaluation period to make some big/key decisions IMO
  6. Isaiah Bond Silas Bolden 2nd
  7. Texas now sits at 16-8, 5-6 in Big 12 Most likely scenario: @ Houston - loss (16-9, 5-7) Kansas State - win (17-9, 6-7) @ Kansas - loss (17-10, 6-8) @ Texas Tech - loss (17-11, 6-9) Oklahoma State - win (18-11, 7-9) @ Baylor - loss (18-12, 7-10) Oklahoma - win (19-12, 8-10)
  8. Texas No. 39 in NCAA Net prior to today https://www.ncaa.com/rankings/basketball-men/d1/ncaa-mens-basketball-net-rankings

  10. Destrehan High 2025 WR (10.45 100 speed) testing day at the slow Adidas All-American Combine in early January... one fastest straight line players in the country 5-10.25, 175, 72 wingspan, 9.25 inch hand, 4.52 laser 40 http://www.hudl.com/v/2MfwZ7
  11. Swage Griffin tested VERY well on that uber slow Adidas All-American Combine surface... 6-0 1/8, 185, 76 wingspan, 9.25 inch hand, 4.17 shuttle and 4.65 laser forty

  16. Texas is also showing some interest in Richardson Berkner DB Kobo Foreman http://www.hudl.com/v/2MFWR8
  17. TY! Love bringing you guys the info from the road
  18. Think A&M is in front early. Texas will get him on campus in March or April. See where it goes from there
  19. Texas can win it … if he doesn’t go to NBA Its up in the air if he’s going to NBA or a year in college
