    When I use that term ... it's not just about trying to flip guys. It's about the entire process, as I have said many times. It's not jumping on a "B list of recruits", and sticking on your top targets - that could be guys that their process goes longer than ideally expected by the staffs, senior evaluations and not settling, flipping guys you lost out on initially. The 2024 cycle included these senior season additions to the class: Brandon Baker Kobe Black Aaron Butler - senior offer Xavier Filsame - senior offer, flip from Florida Wardell Mack - flip from Florida Tyanthony Smith - flip from A&M after coaching change That's not just trying to flip guys. It's all of it.

    100% correct Mack lost the games against OU, but won the majority of in state recruiting battles. And it miffed the OU staff at the time

    I’ll say this … Dakorien didn’t throw out July 4 announcement less than 24 hours ago without knowing where he’s going The kids and families feel the pressure in the closing few hours … always have that last conversation to be 100% sure … And if the last couple of schools that it came down to are really good at their job, always try to leave a hint of indecision

    All comes down to pass pro for DJ Campbell ... he was a slip second slow off the ball too much in 2023 to translate to a high-end draft pick ... but was still a fist year starting guard. how much he ascends will tell the story this season IMO. Being lighter by 15 pounds will be beneficial as a whole too I believe

    Still a Cat 4 after beating the shear is kind of wild ... I say beating the shear because a lot of the models/forecasters were saying Cat 2/1 coming off coast of Jamaica

    He's such a wildcard recruit because of the visits being all over the place ... in terms of parents making some, and not others ... dad lives in Mississippi and mom in Mesquite (she has younger child considerations too)
