  1. I did hear that too. But don't know if that's entirely accurate.
  2. lol. I won't be doing a Hi for womens hoops ... not that it wouldn't be a great development.
  3. Not so sure on that one based on a call yesterday. Miami is still talking to his circle
  4. Sark’s revenge - 36 Jerry Jones’ NIL investments - 23
  5. Hicks plans to sign in December per family source.
  6. The update is that Florida is an OV this weekend. Texas gets last November OV
  7. OnTexasFootball spoke with a source close to Texas 4-star++ safety commit Zelus Hicks (Carrollton, Ga./High). Hicks was on campus at Tennessee and Georgia Tech the last two weekends. This weekend, the 6-1, 185-pound safety will make an OV to Florida. The following weekend will be his OV to Texas for the Kentucky game.
  8. Florida - nah. Miami is the one that will try and try until December 4. The only thing that would take him away from Texas is a massive/can't turn down NIL package from Miami.
  9. Four Nike schools and hometown Adidas Texas Tech ... should be telling IMO. If she wasn't from Lubbock, Tech wouldn't be in it. Dad has a training facility in Lubbock - will that factor in? She's a Nike kid Within Nike ... there is Jordan Brand ... Oklahoma and UCLA wear Jordan Brand. Will that be impactful in NIL in any way? Three SEC schools: Texas, OU and LSU. Did she do all this training, traveling and climb to No. 1 overall to not play in the best conference, biggest college stage and for a marquee brand? Only if hometown school could keep her from it.
  10. Nope. Blake Munroe has an update on her
  11. Texas 4-star++ commit Jaime Ffrench (Jacksonville/Mandarin) will be making an official visit to Florida this weekend. Ffrench told the Texas staff about it prior to it getting out publicly. OTF considers this a free trip to go with LSU at Florida along with his high school quarterback and FSU commit Tramell Jones Jr., who Florida has been pursuing. I spoke with a source close to Ffrench earlier today as well. The source said Miami was the only school that would be a threat to Texas, but Ffrench has remained solid with the Horns.
  12. 120 tackles, 18 TFL and 6 sacks as a senior for Barnes.
  13. I would say both are true The question that will have to be answered for Quinn long term in the NFL for me … does he have the reactive feet and body quickness to maneuver in the NFL. That’s my big Q. Because without it, it will always be a personal struggle against the elite football athletes in the world, and thus require more perfect pockets to have success. You can get by in college, although there are times it becomes glaring when teams can create consistent pressure in a game. Quinn is going to have to prove he can make plays when it’s chaotic in the pocket… Georgia is every week in the NFL for QB’s IMO. If A&M can create similar to that scenario against Quinn … it’s imperative Quinn reacts and delivers a better performance than UGA game. If he does, that will help him quite a bit with NFL people IMO. If he doesn’t, there will be more questions in this regard. He will be tremendous in the on air workouts in pre-draft … can that overcome? Not out of the question.

  21. BY THE NUMBERS 1 Texas, along with Miami (FL), leads the country in the number of players with multiple touchdown receptions this season. UT and Miami each have seven players who have recorded 2+ receiving touchdowns: Texas - 7, Miami - 7, Baylor - 6, Clemson - 6, JMU - 6, Western Kentucky - 6, Boston College - 5, Syracuse - 5, Indiana - 5, Mississippi State - 5, Pitt - 5, Texas Tech - 5, Utah State - 5, North Texas - 5, Texas State - 5, Georgia - 5, Tulane - 5, Marshall - 5, LSU - 5. 4 Quinn Ewers is the fourth SEC quarterback since 1996 with five touchdown passes of 20+ yards in a conference game, joining Alabama's Tua Tagovailoa (Sept. 28, 2019), Georgia's Joe Cox (Sept. 19, 2009) and Kentucky's Jared Lorenzen (Nov. 10, 2001). Ewers had five touchdown passes vs. Florida on Nov. 9. 5 In five of nine games, UT has had 10 or more players record at least one reception (10 vs. Florida, 8 vs. Vanderbilt, 7 vs. Georgia, 9 vs. OU, 10 vs. Mississippi State, 11 vs. ULM, 10 vs. UTSA, 5 vs. Michigan and 11 vs. Colorado State). 8 Texas is one of eight teams to have the same offensive line starters in every game this season (Indiana, Tulane, Wisconsin, Kansas, South Carolina, Syracuse, Texas and Texas State). 14 UT's 14 interceptions leads the Southeastern Conference this season. 20 Quinn Ewers sports a 20-game streak with at least one passing touchdown, dating back to the 2022 season. That streak is the longest by a Texas QB since Colt McCoy from 2007-09. It's also the longest active streak in the FBS, shared with Colorado Sheduer Sanders.
