  1. Wish I had seen this in time. Oh well! Got the Gators winning.
  2. Nobody does an ad read as amusing as @Gerry Hamilton, that’s for sure, but I still stand by not needing to hear about how much he loves his donut hole glazed. 😂😂😂
  3. @Gerry Hamilton wanting a cool glaze on his donut hole is WAAAYYYY more info than I needed this morning as I eat my breakfast…
  4. Obviously no one is ever getting him, but any idea what the starting point on Izzo would be?
  5. I had academic issues so I had to stop after my sophomore year to focus on school. I was 04-06. My pops was a capt of the ‘81 team, my sister capt for 3 years from 04-07 and my brother was a capt of the ‘10 team. Mom was a Bevo Babe back when my Dad was there as well. The swim team cheer group. I was without a doubt the black sheep.
  6. Only 14 to go for Bowman to catch the Goat of ALL Goats, Eddie Reese! Hook’em!!
  7. @Gerry Hamilton @Bobby Burton Told y’all swimming would make Bowman the first of the new hires to win one! Many more to come! Always proud to be a UT swAmmer. That’s how us retirees refer to ourselves. Look forward to hearing yall talk about it on C&F Monday morning! Hook’em!!
  8. As I super-chatted the other day during coffee and football, Bowman had a very good shot at being the first of the new hires with a natty. Texas is always great and he wasn’t walking into a dead team or mass exodus, however, learning what all the guys needed to line up tapers and set relays etc is very difficult to do in a coach’s first season. He won the natty with ASU last year, basically didn’t even fly back with them and came straight to Texas. If they hold on, this will be an amazing accomplishment and I’ll be ecstatic that he is holding onto the winning culture the team has built up since Ed came over from Auburn in the 70s. Bowman was maybe the only coach out there that could realistically follow in Eddie’s shoes. LFG! Hook’em!!!
  9. I can’t be the only one that noticed, but on that QB list from today’s show, the ‘O’ used on the OU QB was actually a Zero haha. 0U vs OU. If someone on the OTF staff did that…well done, well done!
  10. I really don’t know why he is on that beat. He seems to hate the Horns. Undercover gaggie/gooner baby.
  11. 1. No 2. Yes for the sake of the players. They clearly have the ability, but couldn’t be consistent.
  12. My favorite moment off the field would have to be graduating. I came in as a dumb jock and had to learn that Texas was a lot harder than high school and had a lot of habits to change. It was looking fairly bleak there for awhile but I persevered and got that diploma!
  13. The closest I ever got to that 16hr mark was driving only at night and with an extended fuel tank so I only stopped once.
  14. @Gerry Hamilton My grandparents are from Greenville and I grew up in Austin. I’ve made that drive 3x/yr for 24 years. You aren’t making it in less than 17hrs and usually closer to 20 bc of traffic on I-20 or I-10 especially once you turn onto 85 around Atlanta.
  15. Mel Kiper has always been an idiot. His last mock had ONE Longhorn in the first round and I think it was Banks at like 28 or some crap. I adamantly believe that Kiper doesn’t actually watch these players. I think he uses name recognition and then a dart board to pick. So many better mocks out there. Not sure why he is still paraded around like an expert. I bet a casual college/nfl fan could piece together a better mock…
