    Vacating wins and stats doesn't really matter. They happened. Fines probably won't matter much to the institutions either. The NCAA is feckless, especially when it comes to the NFL minor league.

    He's definitely one of the better coaches to walk the empty hall of champions over there. I hope he'll eventually just get fed up with all the weirdness and take a job in the Big 10 or something. Take the fat Bielema route.

    I think a 10-8 conference record will make us almost a lock. 9-9 could do it if we somehow beat Arky or Florida.

    Chris had been battling dementia for many years. Sad news but he will be missed and remembered by many for years to come. A great Longhorn and mentor to so many young people at Camp Olympia over the years. Rest well and hook'em!

    The question is whether or not we can upgrade someone we lost: Hudson, Stroh, Kibble, etc. I thought that would be pretty easy but it's proving to be shockingly difficult.

    In this day and age it probably just makes sense to log off and look at the roster in August to cheer on the Texas team without much emotional attachment to the “labor”

    I would feel much different about this if Parker didn’t light every bridge on fire on his way out. What more money and playing time? Fair enough. But to act like Texas forced him out or treated him unfairly is a bush league move. Not wising bad things on the kid but pretty disappointing the way he had to disrespect Sark and Texas on his way out.

    This is kind of the way I feel. Guys like Adoni Mitchell, Andrew Mukuba and Matthew Caldwell will all seem more like Longhorns than Wisner or Lefau which feels weird.

    Playing Michigan or Miami is probably the best case scenario outside the playoffs. Go get a 10th win and build some confidence for 2026.

    Not immediately. Only if we are left out on selection Sunday (which is obviously the most likely scenario) but let's give them a chance to get it right.
