    Why would an active head coach take another job that is a step down? Makes me wonder about Chip Kelly. Coordinator jobs are usually taken by fired head coaches.

    I gave a point to each player listed in each category and added them up. 9 points- Wingo 7 points - Filsaime 6 points - Simmons, Cruz 5 points - T Smith, Butler, Mack, January 4 points - Owens, Washington, Black, Clark, Livingstone 3 points - Kibble, Baker, Omeozula, Johnson-Rubell, Wilson 2 points - Hills, Gibson, DuBose

    Broughton and Collins are the starters. Savea will surely be in the rotation. Bledsoe, Bryant and Mitchell should help hold the line. There will be more coming in 2025. Everything we have at Buck/Jack/Mike/Will/Sam, in whatever combination they choose to play them will bolster the DL.

    I can't agree with this. DL is the one position on defense where three star prospects seem to develop. Brown is in and we have our sights set on Orogbo, Williams and Guidry.

    I'm expecting a run that mirrors the first decade this century. OL & QB should be better this year. WR is unexperienced but talentwise is equal to last year. At TE don't sell Helm short. Niblack is a great addition as well. DL and Mike is where the hit comes. You just don't replace three draft picks right in the middle of your defense in one year. Edge should be better. The return of Jahdae Barron is just as big as that of Ewers. Mukuba is definitely a step up. There are some young studs coming in on defense. Simmons, Black, Filsaime and Mack will all play next year.

    I would think that #5 folds right into #2. As I said before, the panorama of college football needs to stay. UT vs. Colorado St. or UT vs Rutgers needs to be a viable future.

    1. I agree, but there should never be a cap. 2. I like a bigger field. 64 at the least. 3. It wouldn't be college sports without rivalries. 4. 100% 5. Do not use the NFL as a model! They suck.

    As long as they continue to play G5 schools and keep the panorama that is college sports I'm good with this.

    Good instinct for the ball, but it doesn't look like he does a lot of wrapping up during the tackle. Also mouthpiece dangling from his facemask seems undisciplined.

    That would be fine by me. That way the NCAA can do away with the dead period in July.
