  1. So Texas has five scholarship QBs on the roster. Arch Manning, Trey Owens, Karle Lacey, Joe Tatum, and now Matthew Caldwell.
  2. Translation: We can’t keep our 5-star culture going without a 5-star NIL budget.
  3. Very good in state RB prospect, but the staff has prioritized KJ Edwards, Derrek Cooper, Amari Latimer, and Ezavier Crowell over him in the last few months. Texas will get the two RBs they want by December early signing day. Good luck to him, unless he’s playing Texas.
  4. Sean Miller was certainly paying attention to how Pop built those Spurs teams during his heyday and seems to be using that same blueprint for Texas men's basketball. We'll see if it works out. But yes, regardless of whether you agree or disagree with his political stance or if he should even be discussing it so openly, Gregg Popovich the head coach is right up there with Red Auerbach, Pat Riley, Larry Brown, and Phil Jackson as one of the great head coaches in NBA history. His team's consistency from the 1998-99 lockout shortened season to the 2016-17 season is something that is unlikely to happen ever again.
  5. While it doesn't sting as much, the 2005 game still lives rent free in my head. JJ Redick could not be stopped back then.
  6. 3 years of Arch as the starting QB at Texas, assuming no major injuries and he lives up to the hype, could help this program ascend to heights it has never seen before, even in the DKR era. The "no one does less with more" narrative could be shed forever with Texas football.
  7. Kneepkens to UCLA
  8. Ask Bill Belichick about the importance of long snappers in today’s football. Attention to detail.
  9. Jim Nagy is shopping at Dollar Tree
  10. We've seen this happen in college football. Think Gene Chizik, Ed Orgeron, etc.
  11. And only hit a third of them on low volume. Would not be my first choice, but she was a true freshman, so you would think she will develop into a better perimeter shooter over the next few years.
  12. Played one season at UCF. Here are her stats.
  13. I hope he does as well.
  14. More competitive pressure on Vic if OU grabs her to pair with Chavez and gets to a natty game before Vic does during his time at Texas, but I'm sure Vic understands that. Like Nick Saban preached to Sark at Bama, adapt your offense or die.
  15. Vic found his Mwenentanda replacement. Nice! Maybe he can money whip Kneepkens from OU or UCLA unless she just likes OUs or UCLAs offensive systems more.
  16. Arch would have to have a 2019 Joe Burrow like season to bounce after one season as the starter at Texas. Win the SEC, win a Heisman, win a natty and go 16-0. I don't see all of that happening.
  17. Yes, but if the rumors are true, she won't be coming to Texas. Hope I'm wrong and Vic gets greedy in the portal like Sark is doing rn to get over the South Carolina hump and go all the way
  18. It wasn't Kneepkens. It was Ashton Judd.
  19. Maybe they pulled Kneepkens?
  20. Just like the early 2000s matchups in football, it's psychological at this point
  21. Fingers crossed that Sark can get them over the finish line at least once in the next two seasons with Arch. A conference title and/or Heisman would be cool too but Sark said he came to Austin to win national championships. Right now he’s in the Kirby pre-2021/Dabo pre-2015 phase of his tenure at Texas. He’s doing the things you need to do to make that happen so props to him for that.
  22. Love the guy, but Texas might be going for a 3-peat this season if they had Heisman caliber QB play. The injuries did not do him any favors. I hope he does well in Miami though.
  23. And once again not a good start
