@Gerry Hamilton are we seeing all this crazy transfer movement in anticipation of it being the last year for players to do it without the hassle of lawsuits etc.? -

We make some headscratchingly bad decisions on the base paths.

Weird stuff happens in the post-season. Lose a game and you need innings from those guys. Every season is a story. There will be ups and downs, but it's not just pitching, this offense has some awful absences too. I'll still be watching every game.

Midweek games count, especially losses against bad teams, but did you watch us blow leads against Ole Miss and Auburn and then have to walk off two squeakers at home against OU? Two of our starters have been ineffective in the past week of conference play.

This team has not played consistently good baseball for three weeks now. We've been statistically lucky in close games. Those games will average ~.500 over a season.

Weird to see Volantis and then Riojas get ambushed within the same week.

I'm old, but I'm not convinced transfer OL from WKU and Wake Forest are going to lead Texas to a NC. Hope I'm wrong.
