  1. I'd love for it to not 99.99% of the time be a glorified QB award. But post season is fine by me.
  2. I'm hoping that I can get up early for the game. As it's on pretty early here in Australia. It should be about 6:30am for me.
  3. Didn't he do this last week? He dressed up, warmed up with the team and then didn't play?
  4. I can't see this offense getting fixed in a week and OU has a great defense, at least on paper. With our OL issues and lack of running game, plus too much pushing it down field (hence holding the ball longer), I'm going to pick against Texas (which I already hate). OU 17 - Texas 10 I really hope I'm wrong and that everyone else who picked OU, I'd rather be wrong than right on this one lol.
  5. Fair enough.
  6. Nah, don't keep your mouth shut. You've got just as much right as anyone else here to share your opinion.
  7. I might have to check out this video then.
  8. I'm sorry, but why do fans like you always try to gate keep what the rest of us can or can't say? We're casual fans because we criticize something and want to talk about it on a forum for Texas fans? We're allowed to share different opinions on things regarding the team without suggesting that people are band wagon fans or "casuals" lol.
  9. This is by and far a terrible reason to excuse his overall showing on the OL. This isn't just a this year issue. Suggesting that because he put Kelvin Banks into the league in the 1st round, that it excuses all the bad. Don't get me wrong, guys like Herb Hand before him were terrible. That is a given. Doesn't mean Flood's position group should be excused for what has been a multi year problem.
  10. Yeah, I was going to say he was let go pretty early on by this staff, glad he landed on his feet though. Always like seeing former Texas guys doing well for themselves.
  11. My understanding was it was NIL + family factor. Didn't he have family who played at Washington? Either way, he seems to be doing good at Washington.
  12. Oh right sorry, I misunderstood what you said. Where did Parr end up anyway? I completely forgot about him.
  13. Who are you talking about here, Mills or Fasusi? I don't think either one of those guys was coming to Texas, unfortunately.
  14. I disagree, he was a liability a lot but his experience/communication was a huge factor. Something they could've gone to the portal to get from an experienced C. If they weren't going to go in on other guys, you could've just left Hutson at LG and brought in an experienced C until Cruz is ready to go.
  15. That view of the OL from behind is just...wow. How are they all just whiffing on easy blocks? Stroh looks so weird moving out there and not to mention how often they just let guys go straight pass them, without even so much as getting a hand on them. I refuse to believe Flood is this bad at coaching OL. Another factor, is that Hutson isn't a C. We all thought he'd be better there, but he just doesn't have the strength or communication to play C. He might've whiffed as much as Stroh did. Also agree that deep dive with Paul and Ian, I think it was? That was actually really good. I don't typically watch a lot of their content but it came across my feed today.
