  1. If Bond was healthy, he's a 1st rounder easy.
  2. I'd be surprised if he's not starting, that was one of his biggest reasons for going there.
  3. I don't disagree, but he wanted to start and OU was the best path for him, with numerous factors in their favour.
  4. It does though? He's pretty much guaranteed to start and they would've paid him quite handsomely. Plus, I think his best friend went there, too.
  5. Honestly, the two TE's that went in the 1st round aren't better than him. You could make the argument of Warren but Loveland isn't better, imo. The fact going into day 3 and he's still on the board, tells you someone is going to get an absolute steal at TE.
  6. Yeah I saw his projection is in the 4th now. Been saying it over on reddit, but another year in the system and he could've actually been a 1st round pick.
  7. I think he will be, too. I think Loveland is good, but I don't know if he's 10th overall good. Even Warren going at 14 is a bit of a stretch. Even though he's a great overall player.
  8. Can I be honest? While Loveland is a good TE, he's not better than Helm (imo) and he certainly should not be getting drafted 10th overall. He has higher value in the draft than even Bowers did. Warren I can understand going early because he's a beast, but Loveland I just don't get. Maybe that's just being bias, I don't know.
  9. My apologies, I didn't read the first name properly. Just saw the last name and thought it was Nico. Well, if he was paid then there likely was a contract and you have to fulfil that obligation. Whoever is behind these two boys, is not doing them any favours.
  10. Can I ask why? Didn't he end up at UCLA?
  11. Not to pile on, but do we think special teams has collectively gotten worse since Coach Sark's first year? I remember they used to actively get after Punter's and try different looks, etc. Plus, our recruiting at the K and P spots hasn't seemed all that great. Is there an issue there that needs to be addressed or am I making too big of a deal on that? Regardless of my complaints, wish this young man all the best, despite his struggles last year, we can't forget all the good he did and that he was a good Longhorn. Hope he finds the right spots for himself and to the person who said get a haircut, I disagree, the fro looks great.
  12. I disagree about Burke. He hasn't had a ton of playing time, having to wait behind guys. Now that he's in the drivers seat, I think we'll see him shine. Vasek has huge upside, but he just needs to get his body right.
  13. I honestly think Burke, with more playing time, is about to shine. If Vasek can get his health right, he'll be a weapon. We also have Moore back and Umeozulu coming a long. Can't hurt to kick the tires on a guy like this though, very impressive young man.
  14. That entire offense is going to be a massive question mark. A complete offensive redo, with completely new offensive players is not going to go as well as people think. Plus they lost a lot on D, too.
  15. I think it would make everyone comfortable to have some on field experience in that room. I have no doubt the room is talented, but they have barely any snaps between all of them.
