    My players of the game other than Goosby and Wisner (obviously) were Golden on offense and Vernon broughton/michael Taaffe on defense. golden made big play after big play and had a good Kickoff return to start the second half. Broughton was so disruptive that herbstreit must have said his name like 10 times. Taafe made a huge int and a few good hits on the qb and never really got beat on the scrambles. Plus his interview about Jake Ellinger (and Sam) brought a tear to my eye. Very mature and his pocket square with Jake E’s #48 in the pregame walk spoke volumes of how much this game meant to him and the rest of the team.

    I think he was summer/fall enrollee. Not spring. Could be wrong.

    Is it possible to reclassify and graduate early for spring enrollment? That’s 3 semesters early. Maybe he did a lot of summer school in preparation.

    The announcers for the aggy game are terrible. No charisma and very monotone.

    It’s the same for real life. Sometimes, people take jobs for the money when they could stay somewhere else and develop. Can’t fault the 17-18 yo for doing the same thing many of us do.

    I was at that game too. We should have won. I'm nervous the same thing could happen this time around as well if we don't clean up the offense. My aggy friends kept going on about how the wrecking crew was too stout for us, but really it was our offense that struggled with Simms and then a sick Applewhite.
