  1. We can agree to disagree. Based on the definition by our mutual friend, I'd argue what we saw is a textbook case.
  2. Tiger Woods has had them, pitchers/catchers have had them, even Bryce Young had them this year and had to be benched. Unless we have different definitions of what the Yips are, think it's safe to say Archie had them at the start of the year. We witnessed him throw balls into the dirt on basic crossing routes, not to mention the wild overthrows on screens.
  3. Arch had them early on. Not even up for debate and it was not overblown. Sark wants the offense to be like Georgia's this year, 12-13 personnel, heavy play action. Sark needed it to be like 09 Texas, saw some pivot to that later in the season but could've come sooner IMO.
  4. Would hope it's not Sarkey-Sark and the funky bunch. Our guy was hanging with Saban and co. at the college football hall of fame induction.
  5. Morgan Scalley hired by Utah. And to Kyle Whittingham, rest now brother, we have the watch, and I'll see you in Valhalla.
  6. Fellas (and ladies), Hope everyone is having a great Saturday and is gearing up for the holiday stretch. Today, the foil is extra shiny. We’re talking full-on mad scientist board, red string, pushpins, and caffeine-induced paranoia. The Things We Know Michigan is hunting for a head coach. Top-10 job, prime chaos generator. Marcus Freeman is whispered to the Giants (Dianna Russini, morning intel). Kenny Dillingham looks ready to extend at Arizona State. All else? Spooky whispers floating around, which brings up the next section. Rumor Fog: The Wild Stuff Kalen DeBoer may bolt Alabama for Michigan. If he does, Alabama’s immediate reaction: call Sarkisian, revive Kiffin, maybe ring up a few random NFL coordinators just for drama. Lane Kiffin could, in a fit of déjà vu, leave LSU mid-season for Alabama, leaving a wake of destroyed recruiting pipelines and enraged boosters. Lincoln Riley may contemplate the Big 12, USC, or for all we know try and smoke another brisket but there does seem to be trouble in paradise. (sans #1 recruiting class) Sark rumors to the NFL? Pfft. Put to rest… for now. The Red String Matrix Michigan pulls the first domino: DeBoer to Michigan: Alabama freaks out. Sark is called. Texas updates its spreadsheets. Kiffin seriously considers leaving LSU again, maybe texting a GIF about it. Ole Miss sends a voodoo doll via private jet to LSU. Just kidding. Maybe. OR Michigan grabs an NFL coach: Entire college world sighs in relief. Except the Big Ten, which starts betting pools. Another Power 4 coach: Mid-tier universities suddenly panic and sign whoever will pick up the phone at 2 a.m. I'd think hat a coach like Lanning may take a call. Would introduce some real deal ramifications. (Not even mentioning the fact that ND could open too) IF DeBoer to Michigan Happens? Every call, every agent, every rumor multiplies exponentially. (Including Sarkisian). If DeBoer stays, everyone loses leverage and the SEC suddenly seems boring. (pertaining to coaching chaos) USC / Riley Variable: Riley ponders the cosmos, maybe picks USC, maybe calls Mars for advice. Big 12 hypothetical chaos ensues if he entertains the idea. (He always seemed like more of the type to bully lesser talent) Sure looks like Utah may be searching for a coach if Whittingham cannot get his assistant promoted. NFL Static: Freeman to Giants. Notre Dame quietly develops a new panic plan. (Where the Fhit hits the san) Sark to NFL. Not this year, filed under “future spice.”

  9. Disagree. I've seen your username on other boards. We are near the top in engagement and fear mongering.
  10. I'm not saying shift expectations, but once they aren't met for the first time in three years does that mean burn it all down and start over in your opinion? I would say no, but I'd also agree with you that we've underachieved. It's okay to say it. Your rhetoric isn't really pointing towards any solutions besides firing a staff, and even if that transpires what would you want to happen? The standard is the standard but it's not happening this year.
  11. Who would've thought people on X/other boards spouting nonsense would have a negative on recruiting and team cohesion? Lot of longhorn fans have illusory superiority (me included) when discussing our team. Pretty wild stuff getting thrown around willy nilly as if we are omniscient, not to say some criticisms are not warranted, but the outcry reeks of a spoiled fanbase. Remember when Xavier Worthy posted his draft video and had a collection of negative tweets flash in a compilation, I'm sure @Joe Zura does 😉, including some of these people propagating nasty rumors. Things will work themselves out or they won't, no point in dwelling in this fantastical uncertainty. I'm hoping this fanbase will start taking the serenity prayer to heart.
  12. Trying to think of fun stuff to do not involving having a cold snack lol! I'd say go check out Zilker w/ Christmas lights up, wander around campus. Go to Posse East for a burger by campus. Pool Burger right on Lake Austin Blvd during the day. Definitely shop at the Coop and buy something cool. Usually have some exclusive merch. Wander around the tailgates and if your Dad is going, swing by the alumni center pregame.
