  1. Didn't see any with Nansen or Huppert, but I bet with Graham being from Anaheim, which is close to Mater Dei , someone on the staff knows someone close to him.
  2. Their 3rd CB commit is a top 100 recruit as well. Wonder how many more CBs they will take.
  3. Looks like it https://ontexasfootball.com/forums/topic/326-new-pwo-out-of-southlake/#comment-3396
  4. Appreciate all the stats and analytics Blake! I love digging into them myself.
  5. Absolutely wild. College football may truly be the NFL minor league now with the coaches like that leaving.
  6. That's not a bad idea, however the problem with August is that's when you are getting your practice in for fall ball. That to me might be worse than after the season. It would almost have to be the last week of July to not interfere with any important tasks imo. The portal time frame is a great idea imo.
  7. Thanks I'll try that next time. Yeah that's a pretty big job to leave to go be a coordinator. You'd think that would be a big pay cut just not to have to deal with all the college stuff.
  8. Looks like Chip is trying to get out as well https://twitter.com/On3sports/status/1753222039467340079 Can't figure out how to embed it right
  9. Definitely could allow those to make more which would be a boost to other sports and actually could allow them to be more prominent to draw more eyes and dollars.
  10. Definitely agree they need to split off. Makes no sense for swimming and diving to go all the way across country for events. Alot of what is driven in the NCAA is by football and doesn't work for other sports. The NCAA may actually work for other sports minus football and maybe basketball imo. Win win imo because the NCAA can still do their thing like they want and keep amateurism in the sports where NIL and other items rarely will exist.
  11. Yeah until the NCAA goes away, there won't be any good solutions. They've opened Pandora's box with all of these at once, except there's no hope in fixing it. Another problem is if it's not the NCAA, what is it gonna be? If it's made up of the universities and programs, are they gonna make it have any teeth as well? I'd think they want to cut corners as well and not want to hold other programs feet to the fire so when they cheat, they won't get in trouble as well. Gonna have to have some structure like pro sports which means probably some government involvement at some time imo.
  12. The problem with the signing day window is so many kids want to enroll early now so what's the solution? You could do it before the season like basketball but what happens if you absolutely tank the season? Basketball is easy because you have so few commits so you could just let them out of the NLI I guess. But football you have so many and with the way the coaching carousel is what do you do if you fire them? Even if you went back to just one signing day in February kids are gonna wanna enroll early so you are still going to have to recruit like ESD even if they don't sign but just enroll imo. I can't think of a decent solution for the signing day dilemma.
  13. 100% agree. Way too much is being placed upon these coaches all of a sudden and personally not sure how any of them do it. I think fixing the sign day and portal time frames would help some, but still they will have way more to deal with than in the NFL imo.
  14. Love the rabbit hole CJ, I routinely go down then at work and outside of work. Sometimes you find some very interesting things down them. It'll be interesting to see how this compares this next and if the CFP run has an impact on both the numbers and percentages or just one. Maybe another strong season might slightly lower the percentage, but I doubt it cause Sark seems to be on most early this cycle. Another rabbit hole you might be able to help me with is the hit rate by metro area Rod was talking about Sunday on the live stream. I did a brief cursory look but couldn't find them, could you post me in the right direction as that is one I'd like to go down.
  15. Thanks Bobby! Glad to be apart of it!
  16. A couple of questions I hope someone can answer: It looks like there is daily reaction limits, what is the limit and does it change over time? My time zone setting is way off and don't see how to change it. Is there a way? My apologies if already discussed somewhere else, didn't see it in this thread.
  17. Washington 2014-2017
  18. Worked with him for 4 years if my math is right
  19. It's been reported he was mentored by Pete Jenkins and he is like the godfather of modern technique so probably him imo.
