  1. Is there a list of visitors for the spring game?
  2. Wingo is listed by On3 at 6'1.5" 210#s Terry is listed by On3 at 6'3" 210#s My thinking was that Terry might have room on his frame to add muscle since he's taller $, presumably, younger. I know Niblack is in the 230s now & Sanders is currently listed at 6'3" 252#s by NFL Draft Buzz. It does appear both Sanders & Niblack were heavier in high school. I just think it's an intriguing possibility.
  3. Some on here have mentioned flex TE. I am also intrigued by that possibility. He may not have the size yet, but I wonder how he compares to Sanders or Niblack when they were in high school. I'm pretty sure he's faster & the thought of that level of speed & athleticism at TE is pretty exciting.
  4. I definitely want him to come to Texas.WR/TE? However, if he went somewhere with less quality depth at the skill positions, he could be a Deebo Samuel+. He could play any receiver position & occasional RB. (UTSA?) The 'Horns have so much depth in the RB room they don't need to move guys in from other positions like we did with Roschon & JWhitt not so long ago. He probably has to pick a position & stick with it as a Longhorn. Yes, I know he can play defense, but I have always believed that the best defensive players have a special attitude: They want to hit; to deliver a blow. I've seen seen great offensive players take every hit & get up & come back for more but they don't necessarily want to deliver the blow. (of course, I've seen DBs that don't want to deliver the blow as well.) I just haven't seen enough defensive film on young Mr Terry form an opinion on him as a defender. It also looks like he'd make a pretty good back up punter.
  5. "high school head coach"... Someday I'll figure out how to edit a post.
  6. His my school head coach is an old friend of mine. He says Michael can play about five positions and it appears he uses him in the "win the football game" position. Kind of like Jordan Whittington back at Cuero. Michael likes the "win the football game position".
  7. I should really edit things when I talk to my phone. I'm supposed to say "Well Blake"......
  8. Brown Blake, I won't be able to catch you alive this morning because I'm getting on an airplane at DFW traveling back to Fresno from Weatherford. You don't have fun.
  9. Jimbo: "Tom, you played it all wrong... "
  10. Interesting. A slight tangent here, but I have noticed over the last couple of years, they're always seems to be one rating service that is an outlier on nearly every recruit. One rating service seems to be substantially higher or substantially lower every time you look at all four of them. It's not always the same one, all four seem to be guilty.
  11. Awesome analysis. Thanks Bobby. If Sark keeps it going (& I think he will), the Burnt Orange Era of college football is imminent.
  12. ACC: Louisville B1G: Ohio State Big 12: Texas Tech SEC: TEXAS
  13. I'm really curious about this player. Interesting that there is mention of him playing TE. His HS Head Coach's son was just named TE coach for UTSA. I wonder if that will have any impact at all.
  14. I agree that Georgia should be the favorite in the SEC. But Texas is right there. We make it the chance to play them as many as three times this year.
  15. Too bad we don't have a running back named White. We could run the wildcat with Red White and Blue.
  16. I know you address this further up the chain here, but I'm a little confused why you didn't include Michael Terry from Alamo Heights. Sometimes I wonder if we just don't know what to do with guys in the athlete category. I wonder if he's more interested in playing quarterback, wide receiver, somewhere else? Perhaps he just doesn't fit into the class? Seems like a hell of an athlete.
  17. OTF app? I'm using it.
  18. Yeah, I loved the Rockford reference as well.
  19. $13M, coach football, RV by the ocean? I'm in.
  20. And now I'm back in business. Is it tomorrow? Or, did the problem get fixed? Or, is it not really a problem in some of us are just being silly?
  21. Yeah, I tried to acknowledge your response but, you know....
  22. Then again, perhaps I spoke too soon.
  23. Interesting. It only lasted a couple of days for me if I remember correctly. I've been able to react to as many posts as I want to for quite some time now. I don't know what other factors might be involved but, I log in through Google rather than setting up a username and password dedicated to the site. I do remember it being very annoying when it told me I reached my daily limit though. Hopefully someone figures this out for you.
