  1. Past hour
  2. Disney's upfront is today so we should get at least the Ohio State / OU confirmed start time, similar to last year.
  3. OK, you got me. I give up. Who is that? HOOKEM
  4. He's smooth and athletic. Not quite Clyde the Glide or anything, but looks like a 10-year NBA player in my eyes, at least. Probably hard to evaluate before these types of events because he was not surrounded by enough talent at Texas that he could open up his game. But I thought he stood out from the get. Good luck to the young man. HOOKEM.
  5. It really isn’t that serious. It’s a bit and not malicious at all. Here so you don’t have to delete your account. ontexasfootball.com/ignore
  6. On Flood - some coaches are good at developing raw talent, getting the most out of an individual as possible. Others - our coach - seem to do well with highly rated candidates, polishing them up and getting them good. Also - would you want to under perform under coach Saban???
  7. Today
  8. His tackle development is unquestionable IMO. Banks, Goosby, Cam Williams, Christian Jones. It's his center/guard development that has me concerned. But I still cling to the fact that Nick Saban was upset about losing Flood........................Nick freaking Saban. So despite what my eyes were telling me last year, I still hold out hope that Flood is going to get this thing right.
  9. Bad graphic work, indeed. Gerry noted that it's bad graphics... maybe the Zero U football folks did the design while looking into a mirror. Traditionally, the Home team is listed on the Right side and the Visiting team is shown on the left. Additionally, the visitors are shown in White jerseys while the homestanding team is shown in its' home color jerseys. Not the first or the last time OU Football has gotten things backwards...
  10. It's a really bad joke and you make the OTF experience worse by keeping it up; as someone who mostly lurks and doesn't comment often, that's my 2¢. Bobby talked about making this message board different than others based on the level of thoughtful discussion. Your Flood bit does the opposite. If you think flood is not good, fine, that's your right--I'm not telling you to not share your opinion ever and in the right moment. But spamming every thread with the same trollish comments about flood (as opposed to about gerry, which is funny 🤣) devalues the message board experience and makes me want to delete my account to just listen to YT.
  11. That 1V8 race at the NCAAs is going to be very exciting to watch. 3 boats going at it, all with a chance to win a natty most likely!
  12. I am guessing the Doomers do not know who the home team is! 🤘🏻🤘🏼🤘🤘🏽🤘🏾🤘🏿
  13. I stand with film, results, and reality. It happens to be flood. It ain’t personal.
  14. Did he play? Nope. Out of how many recruits and maybe Goosby though he didn’t play?
  15. RPI falls short. Midweek games weighted similarly to conference games? To take that a step further, we are weighting games similarly for starting pitchers that will likely never start in the postseason except for an extended regional session. Bullpen guys that may never pitch in the postseason except season. A loss by 1 run is treated the same being run ruled.
  16. To answer my own question, #4 - https://www.ncaa.com/rankings/baseball/d1/rpi Hopefully they weigh RPI as heavily for baseball as they did for softball.
  17. This is the first I've heard about Ruger and "soreness". That explains his short outing and that's not good. It would suck to run out of pitching in consecutive seasons.
  18. I would like to know about Neto. Makes no sense. Yet seemingly it did not piss the family off. But we had Goosby as an option for Williams so unless Goosby was hurt too there was a choice.
  19. I enjoy your posts. Nothing aggy about it. Really, the poster telling you to blindly support a coach is a more aggy mentally. Longhorns have discernment for the most part. Flood has been subpar for years in development and recruiting. He suckled on the ‘22 teat for years if one was paying attention. Played very few others so it was zero surprise what happened last year. Even the year before showed it when a one legged cam, that couldn’t move at all, was left out there in crunch time because we had zero bench strength. He. Couldn’t. Move. And we didn’t have a single ol that was serviceable. I’m a huge fan of sark but I don’t get that he could upgrade from pk, who performed extremely well at times, but kept flood who has underperformed each year against expectations. I got into it with the swiss miss from the other site about the oline early and he put a stake in the ground, cause sources. Later, he acquiesced (not to me lol) and changed his toon. Brooks was killed as a frosh and the bizarre Neto benching. I may have missed it but to date I haven’t heard a plausible reason for not trying him. Neto wasn’t Larry Allen but he wasn’t the swinging gate of the younger guards and performed solidly whoosh when in. Texas fans learn the hard way. Hopefully the transfers were trained well to make a difference this year but I really hope I’m wrong and flood kicks butt. I know I know but it’s May…
