  1. Past hour
  2. At the same time it's a pleasant sight to see Mendoza come on as of late
  3. Tinney just got robbed of a home run by the wind. A 110 mph shot that was a rocket off the bat (31 degree launch angle) died on the warning track. On any other night, that's gone.
  4. The move was made because he missed his Sunday start against a$m
  5. As hot as Robins nat has been you would have thought he had 20 bombs
  6. Riojas typically extends longer than Volantis and Harrison. Putting Ruger on Saturday allows them, in theory, to stagger the bullpen with heavy usage guys on Friday and Sunday.
  7. What do you think the reason for the move was? Is it to set the tone for the weekend?
  8. Volantis retires the Bulldogs in order on 10 pitches. A much-needed quick inning for Volantis.
  9. I'm not sure how I feel about RV pitching on Friday when he's obviously a Sunday dude.
  10. My bad fellas and gals I'm late and a little tipsy, but you are out of your cotton picking mind if you think I was missing thing one. Let's go🤘🏿
  11. Some people on this board are acting like Texas is the only good program that didn’t live in the portal, and that’s just not true. Plenty of top teams barely touched it - the difference is those teams already had Final Four‑level cores. Texas skipped the portal while losing three rotation players and bringing in five freshmen, so the anxiety is about timing, not roster size. But some of these takes are way over the top. Texas isn’t suddenly behind Vanderbilt or Kentucky, and saying “Sweet 16 would shock me” is just emotion talking. Booker is one of the best players in the country, the recruiting class is elite, and Schaefer wins 25+ games even in imperfect years. The ceiling is still high- the margin for error is just smaller.
  12. Borba strikes out and the inning is over. One run on a hit for the Longhorns in the second.
  13. Larson hits one on the ground to second. Frei couldn't make a clean play, allowing Mendoza to score on Larson's RBI groundout. Two down and the bases are empty for Borba.
  14. Beccera grounds out to second, allowing Mendoza to advance to third. One out and the first run of the game for either side is 90 feet from home plate.
