  1. Thanks for the insight. Baseball is more of a chess match than you’d think. I stopped playing around 12 years old so we never got too deep into tactics.
  2. What do you think the reason for the move was? Is it to set the tone for the weekend?
  3. I’m a little hesitant on listing the QB room as “Fantastic.” Arch was way too inconsistent last year…though how much of that was because of the O-Line struggles? Probably a lot. Just looking at the 2nd half of the season, we had three games of solid offensive production over 4 quarters (Vandy, Arky, Michigan) and four games with serious sputters (Kentucky, MSST, Georgia, A&M). Just watch the first half of the A&M game - especially the last possession before halftime. Add to that he’s missed out of workouts for much of spring + new target in Cam + #2 and #3 receiver being out for spring as well…I’m a little worried that our offense might not be firing on all cylinders right out of the gate. I can see a world where Arch dominates CFB next year, but for me, I think it will take us longer to get to that point than what you’d assume by looking at the roster on paper.
  4. 45% doesn’t mean much when you only have three attempts/game. I appreciate the effort he put into the program and hope he does well at his next stop.
  5. Love how every couple of weeks we’re like, “yep still a freak.” Going to be a great playoffs.
  6. Nebraska. I went to our last game at Memorial stadium before they left for the big 10, it was awesome. Honorable mention would be Michigan.
  7. That’s like a 50% bust rate on the “late” guys. All the best players from your list were considered “early.” I’m not in the doom and gloom camp, I think everything will be fine. But I don’t think this list does does anything to make an argument. You put 🔥 next to Blackshire. Didn’t he transfer out like a week after he committed?
  8. Cam might also be a sensible traveler. His visit schedule is east to west. Maybe he is cognizant of his carbon footprint? @CJ Vogel do you know how the actual transportation works for Cam? Does our PJ pick him up in Auburn, and then A&M’s PJ picks him up in Austin, and so forth? I assume he’s not flying commercial this week.
  9. I agree with this sentiment. If Arch has four seconds every snap, good luck to opposing defenses.
  10. I can’t take the PK slander. We are 34-8 the last three years. Over that span, the D has been more impressive than the O. We can be excited for Muschamp, while recognizing PK did a great job.
  11. It’s a flawed system for sure
  12. I agree we had a strong case with the quality of wins against top 15 teams…but we also looked really bad at times. As a 9-3 squad, the committee couldn’t overlook us looking discombobulated in the non-con games, squeaking by the two worst teams in the SEC, getting handled by Georgia…we were a play away in the two OT games of having a 7-5 record. I wish we were in cos I think we were starting to figure things out as a team, but it is what it is.
  13. Agreed. As a fan, I want entertainment. High profile non-con games is guaranteed entertainment. The possibility of making the playoffs is not guaranteed. So give me one more guaranteed fun game per year. Odds are we’ll win 50% of them, anyway. And if we do, it greatly increases our odds of making the playoff.
  14. I believe in Arch but he can’t throw a spiral
  15. Totally agree. The stock market has tripled in ten years.
