  1. Past hour
  2. If this team makes the Final Four, it would be the best coaching job of Vic Schaefer’s career. Probably 25-27 wins, 2nd in the final regular season SEC standings behind South Carolina, lose in the SEC tournament semifinals and bow out in the Sweet Sixteen. Something along those lines. They’re a season or two away from another Final Four type of run if they can keep most of this roster intact.
  3. Truth is, Steve Sarkisian offense has turned stale... As hard as it is to say, it seems dated. No QB audibles... What is this, Little League? The offense is degrading; Arch is degrading... because Sark will not let go. Sark comes off as a coach still riding the high of 2020 and has NEVER evolved his offense. Yes, Arch is shot, but it makes NO FREAKIN' SENSE why the O-line continues to suck. I think I'm accepting the fact that we are not very good because Steve Sarkisian is not evolving. After the script is done, he quits! He's being outcoached by FIRST-YEAR HEAD COACHES in the SEC with key players out! I'm sorry, I'm over it, over him... but looking back, it's a reason we lost to Washington 2 years in a row; it's a reason we lost to Georgia back-to-back seasons. Our offense has been exposed, and what we are trying to do is easily defendable. Sark is cooked, and because of that, Texas is cooked as long as he is the OC. Because he's not folding, cut ties if the season continues to tank. Winning looks easier for KENTUCKY! Sark has been Shawn Watson bad, with Charlie Strong incompetence, and Tom Herman stubbornness.

  4. Oh I know, they don’t want to ruffle feathers. Still an interesting question.
  5. I'm afraid you are right.
  6. Unless Sark has someone already in mind, he needs to have someone in the Athletic Department, or better yet, hire a firm like Matrix Analytical Solutions (MAS) with its Coach Rating Index (CRI) to find the best candidates and reach out to them to see if they might be interested in talking. If they are, then do an initial Zoom Call with them, and if that goes well, then fly them in for a face-to-face meeting. He needs to look at all levels, and don't discount anyone just because they don't yet have big-time name recognition; on the flip side, don't get enamored with someone just because of a name. Find the guy who is a great developer of QBs, the way Mike Leach was, and find a guy who shares your same pro-style/play-action/motion offensive philosophy and hire that guy.
  7. Grew up a Kentucky fan and his parents went to Kentucky
  8. That is a crazy list of NBA players with so little tournament success to show for it. Is Swain the only player on there to make it to the second weekend? I'm pretty sure he is.
  9. Wow.. Extremely eye opening. Think about it; with this hesitancy, lack of vision, and decision making the offense is (backed up by numbers) executing at about 20% and we are 4-2 with wins against Ohio State and Tennessee. This should show you how good this team is outside of the QB position. I am not saying KJ is some bonafied stud and it is a unfortunate that we have poured 21 starts of experience into a guy that we cannot trust in an "All In" year. However it is Sark's job to do the best thing for the team right now and after everything that has occurred this year that is to change quarterbacks. If that move can take that 20% operating rate and even turn it into 25 or 30% it is a win.
  10. Why would sitting down for a series or two illustrate was a coaching problem?
  11. loved him until he needed to be benched for manning. Which is why I stand on this is a coaching probelm.
  12. Yes, best QB we had in a decade.
  13. It depends on what the meaning of the word is, is.
  14. Ole Miss already had their get right game
  15. If you are an AD and are potentially looking to make a change at head coach at what point do you start secretly contacting coaches to see who may be interested in the job and who won't be interested in the potential job. And do you think we are at that point yet? If so who are some of the coaches who would be on the top of your wish list.
  16. I don't know who the answer is but something that we have to remember: should we fail to make the playoff this year, next year is probably (just assuming) make or break for Sark. With him on the hot seat would be actually trust someone else to call plays if his job is on the line? If he does choose to get an eye on the sky, it's going to be someone he trusts. Probably someone he's worked with in the past. He isn't going to trust someone he barely knows with his job.
  17. were you a quinn fan?
  18. The next game is always the most important game of the season.
  19. Arch has what’s called in the game of golf, THE YIPS! If can get rid of them we will win this game. If not, we need 17 points to from our defense and special teams to have a chance. Chambliss will make some plays but our defense will as well.
  20. What would be interesting to know is what the guys on offense are thinking. We’ll never know but I can’t imagine there’s much if any confidence in the status quo.
  21. You used one word here that struck a cord….MIND…. Arch needs a mental coach to clear his. It’s called the yips in golf and he has them.
  22. Part of this simply over expectations. This is arch. Yall exaggerated how great he played last year in the 2nd half of the season. Even the mi game was the same cold/hot. Aggie game was terrible for most of it. Now he’s cold/cold. zero doubt he flashes a high ceiling but it’s so rare that he needs to be coached to his floor. He must flash the ceiling with greater regularity in practice and then get in his head during the game. spread is see and throw. That’s probably the best bet though I wish they’d sit him this game. Give him a week to watch.
  23. Every game from here on is the most important game. One more loss and it’s highly unlikely we get in the playoff. Sark is coaching for his job.
