One thing that has not been mentioned here, Sark needs to stop calling these ‘try to outsmart’ plays on 4th down against good defense on short yardage, just call the physical plays and tell the big ugly to push. That Wingo play reminded me on Ewers pick 6 interception, pitch out to Wisner, etc etc … be freakin physical and don’t think that you can break tendency and try to outsmart the other team.

Since 2004 the No 1 ranked team in the country was 197-0 when leading by 20+ points in the 4th quarter….until last night 🤘🏻🤘🏻

You guys are awesome , thank you. One thing that has not been mentioned here, Sark needs to stop calling ‘cute’ plays when you need those short yards. Just call the obvious one and just run it physically. That 4th down call going sideways ain’t gonna work against good defense, didn’t work against Ohio state couple times in the last couple of years, and didn’t work against Georgia couple of times in the last couple of years. I hope he learned on this -

Went to bed during the fourth quarter, I have an early all day volunteering activity today. Great game, gritty comeback wins are better than blowout wins. Vegas was right on the spread, -1.5 to Texas. This victory is moot if Texas doesn’t win in the next game and take the momentum from the win and have a good start in the SEC. -

What a terrible day to be an OU fan. Also, Oregon is a giant pretender and blows, pretty happy about that too. Dan Lanning needs to calm down -
Man, the site and your hard work at this time of day in America. Just watched the game incredible game I caught the score when I got on the high speed train from Qufu China to Jinan China. You guys at OTF are the best as far as coverage. As I said before it was incredible win and game. Definitely, the best game to show the heart of what the 2026 Longhorns football is made of.

It was mainly a TCU contingent and they “handled business” against Grambling apparently but a few horns in there, only people happier than the bride and groom -

Okay but was the wedding cake good? And how many silent "gosh dang it's" and punches in the air did you do? -

Winston really stepped up. Some huge catches and in the run game. -
I just posted this on another thread but outside of Smiths 164 yards on 8 receptions the rest of the Ohio State team was 114 yards on 9 receptions. Even Sayin was unusually inaccurate with his 17/32 which if my math is correct is about 52 or 53%. Oh man that broken play by the TE was frustrating because they seemed to cover that well and then they panned to this big ass TE just sitting alone and I think everyone was just confused how he even got there lol. Personally hope we get the ball more to Mosley, he's got really good hands. Except for that fumble lol.
-
I mean I was just reacting to what I was seeing, so I'm not going to get on my knee's begging for forgiveness. As I said, if we pull it off people are free to drag my ass. I'd deserve it and I'm fine if people do. Only part I missed is when my feed went blank for a bit there and it was in the 4th I believe lol. But I got it working a short time after which was good. It was a rough 1st half though, don't think anyone would deny that. Was hard to watch. 2nd half was much better but the O didn't really start clicking until the 4th and then they let their nuts hang lol.

In a game of stars it is usually the secondary players that have the big moments. We were just deeper than Ohio State, they don't have a Mosley or a Winston. Take away Smith from their offense and the passing attack was down to 9/16 for 114 yards and an INT, and 24 of those yards came on the insane broken play where the TE just ran down the field lost.
-
So I'm looking at the stat line and Julian Sayin was 17/32 278 1 TD/1 INT. That's an unusually low completion % for him isn't it? He's usually way more accurate than that. Also considering most of his yards came via J.Smith making freak plays (I believe it was 164 yards on 8 receptions, with 16 targets). They had 94 rushing yards total. Defense got a few sacks, I think both teams had 2 a piece. We had 2 TO's they had 1. But we had 4 fumbles with t hankfully only 1 being a TO. Ohio State was 6-14 on 3rd down and Texas 9-16. On 4th OSU was 0-1 and we were 2-3. 3 Punts for both teams. I'll definitely do a rewatch of the game myself but it definitely looked and felt worse in the moment with how things were for 3 quarters. Seems like those early mishaps really put a dampener on the team. Some other missed plays and leaving probably another 14 points out there. I'm a little worried about our DL, thought we might see them do some different things this week but we didn't really. Would also like to see Simmons be a bit more disruptive. Not only is he being paid the big bucks he's supposed to be one of, if not our best player. Same with Biles. Thought the DB's were a little shaky early on but as the game wore on they got a handle on things and put the clamps on OSU. That's probably the best WR room they're going to face all year and I think outside of Smith's 1st half they did a good job. Seems like they're still getting a handle on the press man stuff, they look a bit stiff at times trying to execute it but I like what I'm seeing from it so far. Would like to see more disruption and havoc plays moving forward but I'm assuming this is just a by product of new things on D and trying to figure out what works (on Muschamps side). Anyway, I won't ramble on too much. Very emotional game and lots of good banter in the game thread. Either way, several hours later I'm still extremely happy we pulled that off. Just need to clean things up and the boys will be rolling into SEC play. Tennessee looks like it will be a tough game from the little I've watched. But first gotta worry about those road runners, who i think beat Texas State?

I swore em off too. Bro.. I've been building myself to be disappointed since 05!! That 1st half was rough and I told my wife that Ohio St was about to score a TD in those 55 seconds! I avoided the 3rd quarter. I watched a ko in the Garcia vs Benn undercard and, on a whim tuned in for the 4th. Boy am I glad I did!!! 🤦🏿♂️🤷🏿♂️🤘🏿
