  2. Bout to click that ban button. Bait that, big dog. 😂
  3. Today (Aug 1) marks the first day D1 Baseball programs can reach out to 2027 prospects and the Longhorns have a message…
  4. Ah more clickbait from the master of it respect 🫡 mute munroe
  5. At some point you'd think they would eventually come off the cliff and learn that the world is not out to get them, in fact the world doesn't even really care. They should listen to the great Kansas band's lyrics . . . "all we are is dust in the wind"

  7. What could POSSIBLY warrant 15 luxury suites in a high school stadium? This place is insane! Makes Westlake look like a prison field!
  8. Give this a click, if you can. The National Sports Collectors Convention is in Chicago this weekend, and I highlighted Bijan as a non-quarterback card collectors can target at The National ahead of the NFL season: https://www.si.com/collectibles/five-nfl-non-quarterbacks-to-target-at-the-national

  9. Don't want to see him on the field till he's as close to 100% coming off injury. With college season looking more and more like an NFL season, he could give you that boost down the stretch.
  10. If I understand the question correctly, the guys it impacts most are uncommitted prospects. You might still think you've got an offer from a school, but if communication has tailed off and you don't get a written offer today, they should assume they're off the board.
  11. CBS Sports predicted the first loss for each SEC team. While they have the Horns beating Ohio State, CBS predicts that Texas will lose to Florida in the Swamp. For what it’s worth, they have the Longhorns rebounding the following week and handing OU their first loss of the season. 12. Does texas do any of the flashy boxes that you see other teams do with their offers? Feels gimmicky but a 16-18 year old would find it amazing.
  13. Has this rule change by the NCAA resulted in guys getting "offers"?
  14. No doubt. The running game needs diversity and unpredictability. Those two things will go a long way toward resolving the issues we saw last season.
  15. Another insanely idiotic thing the NCAA decided a few years ago was that football prospects wouldn't receive a written scholarship offer until Aug. 1 of their senior year. Derrek Cooper posted his on X this morning:

  17. I just hope he gets fully healthy and back to full go, not just for the teams sake but also for Baxters as a person and player long term potential.
  18. Baxter may jump ship and gonpro regardless if he can return to form by the end of the season. I trust the coaches to oversee his recovery and know when he is ready. We are blessed to have a good stable of running backs competing.
  19. I hope for 3rd down and redzone sake they are able to do both. There needs to be a balance inside and outside, power and zone. Just my 2 cents.
  20. I don't think y'all are disagreeing.
  21. Damn. They’re on to us. I guess we’ll have to go back to reviewing video again.
  22. Disagree on that take, you get him reps where you can, he's already lost last year. He'll have the added benefit of being completely fresh and it will allow the other guys to rest to get ready for the post season (assuming Texas is going far). There's plenty of games to go around and getting him prepared to contribute in the playoffs would be huge as well.
  23. ...is the kind of kid that will be hugely popular with teammates and fans. I have been following him on IG, and he has a great attitude about competing and playing football. He looks like a Sark recruit to me!

  24. Now THAT is doubtful. What is the point of playing 6-7 weeks in. If he's ready to play, give him some reps. I doubt we see him week 1 but some of those "lesser" teams where you might blow them out, he'll likely get some back up reps. If you're going to wait that long to play him, you might as well just red shirt him and call it a season.
