Ohio St. names Sayin as starter

He was one of the worst DC Bill had in the dynasty era. Regardless I’m glad he’s the OSU dc. I never said I was worried about moving the ball? There’s a reason I’m about to put a large wager on Texas to win outright. -
My favorite spot in San Marcos back in the day was Mamacita's. They also had an NB location (where La Cosecha is now, for the person that referenced it), but the San Marcos one is a Buffalo Wild Wings now. RIP

William Wallace??? Lol -
Chris Del Conte’s contract approved. He’s locked in until 2036. Congrats to Chris and congrats to the University of Texas!

Nothing beats the San Marcos location, but I'm never mad when we're a little further south and we end up at the New Braunfels spot.

Herberts has the Gabriel Iglesias seal of approval. Love that place
-
Nothing concrete beyond what we've already reported.

Numerous players have had issues with Patricia in the NFL, rumor to have a very callous/controlling personality. If those same habits are exhibited at OSU his tenure will be short. Day will promote James Lauranitis or bring a new guy in next year.

I meant to say Gerry is great on evaluating recruits even kids who don’t commit to Texas. -
Interesting take. I agree a big push up the middle with DE contain, but will be there also lots of LB & Safety blitzes from OSU. lots of 3/4 look and walking a LB up to 4-3 than walking up crashing another LB or Downs from Safety position. They will do that and also show that same look and drop back depending down/distance/formation.

I'm very familiar with him. You're making things up. Where did I say he was the GOAT DC? I said he has 16+ years of experience in the league and 3 rings, at least one as a DC. I said Sark and his staff aren't going to have any relevant tape because he wasn't here last year with this personnel and hasn't coached at the college level in 20 years. About his term with the Lions, it was terrible, so what? Spurrier, Saban, Meyer, Holtz et al sucked in the NFL as head coaches but they have a whole helluva lot of college rings. Suit yourself, he may not be the GOAT but if he's good enough to be Belicheck's DC for several years and Super Bowl victories and Ryan Day thinks he good enough to hire him, he's plenty good enough for me. If he sucks as badly as you believe, you should have no problem moving the football and lighting up the scoreboard. I'm thinking that ain't gonna happen.....

Jim is a great guy, extremely smart, and he LOVES UT football. So, I expect his alignment with Eltife and CDC will be 100%. He is conservative and I probably will not agree with everything he does as President. But I can also promise you that he should NOT be lumped in with Ken Paxton. -

Look up Quandre Diggs’ thoughts on Patricia after he played for him in Detroit and Darius Slay nearly quit on the eagles when they hired him as an analyst. But yes many are now referring to him as the Bill Walsh of defenses -
100% correct. Patricia has had his struggles, interested to see what he does scheme wise with the talent he has at OSU. Good year or two and maybe he he goes back to the NFL as a DC again. I think HC ship has sailed for now.

Thanks for all the suggestions! 🤘

Going to be a great game. I could see them meeting again in January.
-
I would have Baxter - Wisner in backfield together…. read that def End … Sark can go 10 different plays to sunday w Arch reading that def End…. shuffle pass … Wisner or just bull rush them w Baxter 4 yds at a time If osu loses containment w Arches legs…big Arm… with our big wr crossing gonna be long night for osu.

Daily? Who has time to watch all that daily? Even if I was retired I couldn't keep up.

Have you followed Patricia before? He’s not the GOAT DC you’re making him out to be. Remember when Nick Foles absolutely schooled him on the biggest stage? Remember when he was the laughing joke of the NFL 2 years ago? -
Fair enough....I see two young, inexperienced QB's playing against two of the best defenses in the country. We know that typically defenses are ahead of offenses early in the season and Sark and his offensive brain trust don't really have any relevant tape to study re: our new DC Patricia and it's gonna be a tough environment for them. I see a defensive battle and barring a rash of turnovers, I see a one score game with a multitude of lead changes for 60 minutes.

Great list! Muck N Fuss, Huisache and La Cosecha are my faves. Krause's Beer Garden is a decent spot as well if you're down for German fare (sausage, pretzels, etc.). Art House Cakery is THE spot for desserts!
