  1. Past hour
  2. Harrison says the team is having a real fun time to start this season Says the locker room is great at picking each other up so far.
  3. We are not even close to the Gators in talent right now.... The gap is wide.
  4. LHP Luke Harrison on the mustaches in the locker room: ”I guess it’s just a baseball thing.” Says he hasn’t seen Schloss yet, but gives his mustache a 10/10
  5. Tinney says plate discipline is a big part of his game he’s working on. “I am somebody that damages the ball when I make contact. So I’m trying to do the best I can at that.”
  6. Fans have to give a coach time to build and young players time to develop. Today’s under the radar player becomes tomorrow’s best ROI with good coaching and opportunities to develop on and off the court. Buy low and hold strategies for a NIL bull market will produce good yields. It will require quality talent evaluation, discipline, and patience.
  7. Carson Tinney says he’s been very happy with the composure side of things from the starting rotation this year. He mentioned it’s his job to keep pitchers focused and composed when calls go different ways or hits start to rack up. Says he uses a certain vocabulary with the starting arms that keeps the game fun
  8. Looking forward to being at Enron aka Minute Maid aka Daiken Park this weekend... For those going most Texas fans will be posted up at Little Woodrows and or Cabos all weekend...
  9. Not that big of a deal. It’s free for crying out loud and YouTube places ads to make money . It’s a profit deal.
  10. At least he will be teammates with arch in 2027
  11. Tinney says there’s been a lot of growth in the catching unit with Ermis specifically getting more burn at the plate.
  12. One of the reasons I joined this site was because there is a zero politics policy on the sports board. I 100 percent support that stance.... As stated OTF has no control of the adds run by Youtube and to be triggered by them is odd. I have seen them and some are definitely of candidates I would never support. They did not bother me. To answer your other question. Yes I would definitely say that to a persons face. Anyone here that knows me knows I am the exact same person online as in person.... I do not hide behind a screen name. Never have never will. My avi is a pic of me. I attend home games and most road game. Attend Basketball and many baseball games too. Again I do not hide behind a computer.... thanks
  13. Starting rotation will remain the same this weekend: Ruger Riojas on Friday vs. Coastal Carolina Luke Harrison on Saturday vs. Baylor Dylan Volantis on Sunday vs. Ohio State
  14. Not sure, but that should be the blueprint imo. Florida has had quite a bit of success in hoops in the last 40 years for a school that is viewed as a football school. 6 Final Fours, 10 Elite Eights, and 12 Sweet Sixteens is not bad at all. Have to figure out what they are doing from an NIL and roster construction standpoint and implement it at Texas. I think Sean Miller is the right guy from what I have seen this season.
  15. Schloss says Ethan Mendoza is the least “data driven” guy on the team and he loves that about him because it brings out the competitiveness in him to the maximum.
  16. New Jersey is a great place. I grew up there. I'd still be there if it wasn't so cold.
  17. I spent a weekend in Trenton in October. It was sad.
  18. Schloss says there typically has been an adjustment period for Texas teams he’s coached against in the past when moving to a natural playing surface. Says that will be a test this weekend.
  19. Jim Schlossnagle says he made a deal with Casey Borba to grow a ‘stache when the team won five straight. Well, Texas has. Now the Stache is here until there’s a loss.
  20. I think T'Vondre's personality gives him a chance to become a fan favorite wherever he goes. The NY market could be really good for him.
  21. It's the worst. It's the land of meatheads...and Carlos Bakery. I do like a good lobster tail from the bakery.
  22. 100 agree but Saleh is with the titans now so may be better for Sweat in the long run given what he did to the Jets…
  23. Team will leave around 11:30 this morning to trek down to Houston.
