  1. Past hour
  2. Smothers literally did that like two or three times on Saturday.
  3. Yep, not sold on the guys we got now either. At some point this year, we’ll need 2/3 yards and won’t have the back that can fight through contact and get it. Would almost like to see Townsend and Terry/Cooper lined up in the I-form in that situation.
  4. Especially when considering Christian Clark and CJ Baxter aren't sure-fire starters either. Baxter had 9 att. for 48 yards and 2 TD in the opener for Kentucky, however. Jason Patterson (UK RB #26) ran for 78 yards on 11 att.
  5. Unfortunately, probably the case.
  6. Its an indictment on FSU for paying what we have to assume is a pretty high NIL figure for a RB who doesn't play
  7. This game is really an indictment on Wisner's ceiling (or lack thereof)......amazing that he ran for 1000 yards in the SEC and is 3rd team on an ACC also ran...
  8. Did we ever find out what Wisners NIL ask was from us or what FSU gave him?
  9. Love Wisner but this has gotta be an indicator Texas was really below the bar at RB last year.
  10. We need to start recruiting backs like Kormah
  11. It's rather ridiculous how little faith FSU has in the QB. Play calling like it's 1940 and the forward pass is still a foreign concept
  12. I don't think Wisner has seen a snap this entire game.
  13. I thought the Colin Simmons level impact was hyperbole and he'd be good. But there's a lot of truth to that and it's hard to avoid a player in the middle of the field the same way you can avoid an edge rusher.
  14. Comedy of SMU mental errors
  15. Wisner can't even get in as a 3rd down back
  16. Get Kromah in the portal next year
  17. SMU is trying to gift wrap this one but FSU just can’t rip the wrapping paper
  18. SMU trying to lose this game with brain dead decisions
  19. As a Texas I have seen this type of offensive line play WAAAAAAAY too much
  20. Agents don’t make money off that though, therefore they don’t care.
  21. Sure he could’ve been that at Texas (and he was given that offer), but he chose to take a bigger paycheck from Florida State. And he never bothered to inform Texas of his decision to go elsewhere via the Portal, and instead decided not to show-up for the team flight to Orlando for the Cheez-it Bowl (after having practiced with this the Texas team throughout bowl prep). Decisions have consequences.
  22. Not yet but I just need a live chicken to sacrifice to Jobu…
  23. He could’ve been that at Texas if he wanted lol. I think these agents are undervaluing being a lifer at Texas and how you can have an income stream for decades after. He lost that by leaving.
