  3. On more pleasant news.. Kitan Crawford with the pick
  4. Yeah, I agree with you. I think I had this unrealistic hope he was gonna come out and wow everybody and show he should ahve been a 2nd-3rd round pick. Truth is, he may need a little bit of time to develop.
  5. I watched the whole game (Easy to do as a Bears fan) really wanted to see how Quinn performed in comparison to Zach Wilson. Dolphins 3rd stringers are not good (except Ollie Gordon) so it's hard to tell what he might have looked like with a better supporting cast. And It hard to tell if the play calling was terrible or if his decision making was. But that was hard to watch. He did not look like he belonged. I was foolishly hoping he was gonna put people on notice that he is better than 7th round, but that was not a good first look. He isn't escaping the pocket well, and he is relying on trying to get a pass interference call like he did at Texas, rather than looking for the open player. I'm rooting for the guy, but he isn't making it easy on himself. There are flashes, but the game seem a bit fast at the moment
  6. I don't think that that's what most people are doing. But in the NFL there's a tendency of giving up on players before you really know what you have. Remember Sam Darnold seeing ghosts. If McDaniel thinks he can work with then there's no harm in keeping him on the practice squad, if he doesn't then cut him.
  7. These teams appear stacked with enough talent to play each other twice this season. There are perhaps 5-7 other stacked college teams in America. The loser in Columbus can only afford one more loss and be assured of a playoff spot, I think. Vegas apparently has the home team favored by the standard home team betting margin. I won't bet this game. I will be watching on TV, enjoying a Texas victory or having the next week to recover from the anguish. Hook 'em.
  8. Bijan. I'm sad we didn't get to see him on a really good Texas team.
  9. Today
  10. People need to quit pretending Quinn Ewers is a capable NFL quarterback. He’s just not. Gerry Hamilton often mentions that one position group that should never reclassify is a quarterback. The intangibles gained from this experience builds confidence and some alpha moxy. Quinn did chop the mullet finally.
  11. He's likely to be cut or put on the practice squad. The lack of mobility is a hindrance.
  12. Sometimes fans think every incompletion is on the QB and fail to account for chemistry or understand that route concepts are trying to accomplish certain goals. Personally I won't be able to see what's going on until I can get my hands on the all 22. It won't be until then, that I'll be able to understand if all of the misses were on Quinn. Lol at least he ain't throwing pick 6s like 40 year old Tyler Shough.
  13. Quinn was playing with their third string which affected a lot. There were no Goldens out there running routes for him and protection was lacking but he still appears to be hamstrung by his poor pocket escapism. He showed flashes but overall was a poor first outing that he can build on.
  14. @LovingBuckeye just wanted to say thanks for sharing your insights on the Buckeyes and the civil conversations on the board. Nice to see between opposing fanbases. I worked in the compliance office at Ohio State and loved my time there. Great people all around in that department and in the football building. Looking forward to a great match up!

  20. From ESPN: I spoke to scouts and talent evaluators to come up with a cheat sheet of college programs for fans to watch in preparation for the 2026 NFL draft. A lot will happen between now and the end of the season, of course, but think of this as an early primer on which schools NFL franchises will be keeping tabs on this fall, along with. I settled on 12 schools and separated them into three tiers, considering the overall number of draft prospects and how many of those will be first-rounders. I also picked an under-the-radar program to watch.
  21. Arch to T Wisener wheel route
  22. ROJO....heart and soul of the team. Guys like Nibblet coming up are the guys that make a program hum and stay in harmony.
  23. Who was the genius scout that said Banks arms was too short and he should be a guard? So far he's been able to keep DL from getting into his body and once he gets his hands on you the rep is over.
