  1. Past hour
  2. Wishful thinking that Barron and huff got together to give #7 to Jelani.
  3. Any eligibility left? Either of them?
  4. Looks like Blake could still suit up in a pinch! ๐Ÿค˜๐Ÿป๐Ÿค˜๐Ÿผ๐Ÿค˜๐Ÿค˜๐Ÿฝ๐Ÿค˜๐Ÿพ๐Ÿค˜๐Ÿฟ
  5. I hear Terry is still considered a back up at WR. I wonder if he influenced the WR migration to the RB weight room group somewhat??
  6. Today
  7. I remember him. Great player. "A College Football Hall of Famer, Gilbert was a consensus All-American in 1968 and the first player in college football history to rush for over 1,000 yards in three consecutive seasons."
  8. Wasnโ€™t that another knock on Herman? That longhorn football alumni felt unwelcomed? Tracks for a jackass such as Herman
  9. Coleman is probably just a lot stronger than other receivers and that is why he works out with the running backs. He probably gets tired of having to keep adding weight or resting more than most wide receivers. I took weight lifting for P.E. in college and my partner was an all city fullback from one of the Houston high schools. He was really stout and strong as an ox. He probably wished he had a better partner because every time I finished a set we had to add more weight for him and if he went first we had to stop and take some off for me. ๐Ÿ˜…
  10. Yeah and 2 of the stronger receivers (Wingo and Mosley) are recovering from surgery.
  11. Actually he was a great Texas player. Not ever seeing him live is a real shame as he was electric even against great teams. I attended that 1969 Cotton Bowl and afterwards I was convinced I had seen the best team in CFB in 1968. I am glad to finally learn the team felt the same after that game. The next two years, Ted Koy replaced Gilbert in the wishbone and each year Texas won National Championships. Ted is still alive but sadly has never been featured on an OTF program. A most regrettable oversight. The rest of that backfield has passed on. Bill Bradley is still alive and until recently still active in football. Sadly it seems he also will never be on an OTF presentation.
  12. Good to see the door is always open in the offseason
  13. two legends right there
  14. Crazy how jahdae bet on himself during the summer of 2024 with michael huff rewarding him that special number 7 and him more than paying that off with another thorpe award winner
  15. And brings a gift to Blake Gideon. Always cool to see former Longhorns return back to the 40 Acres in their off-time.
  16. This is a big team we can't overlook. Hook'em!
  17. I am fortunate enough to be old enough to remember watching Chris. Very talented player on some very good teams. Back in the day, as a kid, we were able to get into the end zone to watch games while our parents enjoyed their season tickets elsewhere in the stadium. We actually only had to pay $1 for those seats back in the 60's.
  18. That, and getting the top dogs to compete against each other will lead to them pushing each other to take it to another level
  19. Chris had been battling dementia for many years. Sad news but he will be missed and remembered by many for years to come. A great Longhorn and mentor to so many young people at Camp Olympia over the years. Rest well and hook'em!
