OTF’s Bobby Burton reported that Goosby "walked off the field fine" after the injury, which occurred in the first half of practice, while OTF’s Gerry Hamilton was told that the injury was a left-knee hyperextension. Sources with knowledge of the situation told OTF on Tuesday that Goosby underwent an MRI on Tuesday morning. At approximately 10:45 a.m., ESPN’s Pete Thamel reported that the injury was a bone bruise, which OTF has confirmed. Read mild to moderate bone bruises may heal in 4-8 weeks. Severe may be 3-6 months to fully heal. Heard 4-6 weeks may be the Goosby timeline.
