  2. Voting will now be closed. Thank you all for your submissions. Hundreds of votes are amazing. Great set of data points.
  3. Love the quote by DKR. I had not read that quote before, so thanks for sharing!
  4. A couple of good choices, but for me I’ll go with Jones. I remember watching him as a teen! Also, as mentioned, All-SWC, All-American and Olympic gold medalist, that puts him up there!
  5. Come on, you knew he was going to give a coachspeak answer on that 5 days into camp.
  6. Sarkisian says he is starting to hear more and more from Derek Williams in the safety room. Mentioned Jonah Williams as well. Sark says it is a prerequisite for his safeties to speak — and that comes from Muschamp. The practice in DKR had crowd noise cranked all the way up, with emphasis on signals, as well as vocal comms.
  7. I'm a huge Ty'Anthony Smith fan from covering him during his recruitment but hard to not go with Tre Wisner (who later switched to No. 5). The rival killer will be missed. Also worth mentioning I'm 23 years old and didn't get to see a lot of other 26s who will be brought up
  8. Sark compares Cam Coleman to Julio Jones.
  9. "Arch probably talks a little more s$#t than he gets credit for"
  10. “I think the team responds really well to Arch.”
  11. Aside from Rasheem Biles, Sark is doting on Justin Cryer, Brad Spence, and TyAnthony Smith. Says all three freshmen are impressing and have bright futures. Says the team will need them.
  12. Sark already practicing turtling with the lead. Step on their throat!
  13. Ty’Anthony Smith “flashed more today than in any practice” says Sarkisian
  14. “I love Justin Cryer… he’s a pros pro.” Sarkisian says he has really changed his body since arriving.
  15. Sark says they ran the ball 16 times in a row today in practice.
  16. “He’s a problem.” Sarkisian says on LB Rasheem Biles. Says he disrupts practices just like a Colin Simmons does off the edge.
  17. Texas ran 16 straight rush attempts in team setting today with no passes. All about emphasizing the physicality in the run game.
  18. Sarkisian says the physicality of the running backs is really brought out in pass protection.
