With Elijah Robinson going to LSU. Should Texas be concerned with Watson leaving to reunite with him?

Absolutely, if anything they need to go the other way. ND will not be considered for the CFP until they join a conference. In fact, no independent team will be allowed to participate in the CFP. -
The longest any agreement that was grandfathered could be was through the 2025 season.

If they’re both back Arch should be fine. If not, we should think twice. -

Campbell needs to play. More good film. Goosby is not at the stage where he’s an early entry. -

Its worse. They would have taken Miami's spot contractually instead of a head to head cfp decision where they lost on the field. And haven forbid we're #10/11 next year and get bumped by them + some combo of a weak ACC champ or 2nd G5 Champ or 2nd place ACC/B12 team. -
Prior to the House settlement NIL was the “Wild West” with effectively uncapped NIL payments. My understanding is that pre-House agreements didn’t apply to the House salary cap. Was that waiver just for the 2025 season or does it apply through the term of the NIL agreement, however long that is?

Notre Dame Opts Out Bowl Game
Texasfootball replied to Texas fan in Georgia's topic in On Texas Football Forum
My comment was more of a general statement to anyone who thinks we should do anything other than go out there and win this game. these kids came to play football. And to not go out there with the 100% focus/intention or winning is cheating the kids, the program and the fans. Go out there and blow the doors off of Michigan and springboard next years season acting like limp wrists, and trying to take our ball and go home because we didn’t make the playoffs is a weak mindset. -
Carlton made sure to show off his basketball highlights too lol

BYU had a second chance against a team that they already looked like crap against, and then looked like even worse crap lol. Bama looked like crap against a team they had beat the first time. So there is technically a difference there. And BYU’s chances of the CFP weren’t hurt or helped by their Tech loss. They weren’t in the field before and aren’t in the field after. -

Weak and soft move by ND to opt out. But also good because it’s another bit of pressure to change the current format. The 2026 clause is garbage and I expect the major conferences to push back hard. -
Gotta start a list of how many Texas players can do a windwill dunk... Saw Arch do it too

He and Jamarion Carlton had a little fun back and forth earlier.

We should opt out of all games to avoid injuries then. -
Pretty darn impressive! 6-foot-4 and 250 pounds all while still being just 16 years old. Wesley is going to be a fun player over the years.
