Our Friday night starter gave up 5 runs and the defense had 2 key miscues that led directly to two runs. Last night was not 100% on the bullpen. Everyone just focuses on the last thing to happen in a game and not what built up to it.

A&M has the best lineup in the SEC. You would certainly trade our lineup for theirs in a heartbeat. They lead the league in every offensive category. They might have a bottom 4 pitching staff in the league, which is why their postseason stay might be short lived. Y'all feel free to jump ship over 3-4 bullpen meltdowns out of 30+ games. No one ever talks about the final games at Auburn, or the OU series, or the South Carolina series where the bullpen saved our ass.

Not this game, last night’s game was 100%. Bullpen has been the worst aspect of this team this season by a country mile.

Not reading all of that nonsense, but have you watched A&M at all this year? Their top guys are unreal, Sorrells is better than anyone we have, that’s not hyperbole, he’s incredible. Grahovic is also insane. Their problem is they can’t pitch, and yet they’re shutting us out.

There is no way you can watch this game unfold and blame bullpen walks as the culprit.

Borba is 1-20 the last two weekends with double digit Ks. Oh and Texas is getting this right.

It’s probably the general consensus that anyone would take their top two guys. So surprise I guess.

Pretty sure this is the outdoor SEC season title. Horns beat Florida to win the regular season. Played outdoors, but had to move doubles indoors due to inclement weather. The SEC tournament starts on April 15th. The indoor championship was back in February. That one does not count.

I draw the line at you idiots saying their top guys are better than ours. If you don't know baseball, then sit this one out. Better yet, just stop watching and spare us all with your outlandish takes based in nothing but emotion. Is this team beat right now? Yes. Absolutely. This is big boy baseball where big time draft picks come out and are in the big leagues very quickly. This isn't Sunday farm baseball that is being played. This team is still talented and able to make a deep run. It is April for goodness sake. I want to beat Aggie like all of you (and has lots of emotions about losing to them with those damn bubbles), but let's not act like this team can't still make a WS run. How many of you would make fun of Aggie for making this their "Super Bowl" if they were so excited for winning a series agains the #2 team?

This is the longest outing of the season for Walls by innings pitched (3.1) and pitches thrown (52).

Yeah, the 61 Yankees didn’t have a bullpen that walks 80,000 batters either. This team has some horrendous warts that come out at the absolute worst time.

Walls retired eight in a row, hit Kellner, struck out Grahovac and then gave up the bomb to Sorrell. I thought they were going to bring in Walker to face Sorrell for the lefty-lefty matchup.

Unfortunately, the team isn't set up right now to capitalize on Maddie's last season. Very few teams on the women's side get to the Final Four with mostly new players on their roster much less win a championship in Vic's system. Unless we get a couple experienced stars in the portal that can pick up things fast, my expectations will be tempered a bit for next year.

Two thoughts. One, Borba needs to sit and recover mentally. He's just not there right now (justifiably so). The golden sombrero put him into a bad head space. Two, I'm struggling to understand why Duplantier is still in the lineup. Okay on defense, but entirely to prone to issues on offense. Regardless of what happens this series I think that is a weakness in the lineup.
