Here’s what Cowboys HC Coach Brian Schottenheimer had to say about former Texas RB Jaydon Blue: "Yeah, the speed, the dynamic playmaking ability. I think he's a dual-threat guy. I think you can hand him the ball. He doesn't need a lot of space to make people miss, and his acceleration is uncanny. I mean, his ability to get to top speed is unique," Schottenheimer said. "He's just, he's such a talented young man. But what I like is the professionalism that he's shown at this camp.“ "I think it's one of those things where, like, he's here and he's like, 'Okay, I think it's kind of go time. I have my little bit of learning curve in the off-season program and all this new language.' You gotta remember these guys, they rarely hear play calls in the huddle. They get signals, and they're going fast. And so I think he's much more comfortable with what we're doing. So you're seeing him play faster, freer, and more confident." https://www.si.com/nfl/cowboys/news/brian-schottenheimer-raves-about-talent-professionalism-dallas-cowboys-rookie

Sounds like they accepted his commitment but told him to hold off on announcing. Remember, he had a date set to announce and then pushed it back (probably told by staff to hold off announcing). After seeing others jump in the boat and still not being given the green light to announce he probably felt he was being put on the backburner while in recruiting circles people are viewing him as a Texas commit. Better for him to get out in front of it than to be trapdoored closer to NSD with no seat to sit in once the music stops playing. I wish good luck to the young man.

CBS Sports did an article where they predicted each big 10 teams first loss. As for the Buckeyes, CBS predicts that they will lose to Texas in the season opener. Here’s what they had to say:

Not sure what this will be

His son’s are gone, travis is gone, the best he could do was 9-4 with multiple NFL guys so of course his desire is prolly dwindling. -

The purpose of doing this by him was for what? Seems pointless to me.

It’s truly crazy how fast time flies. I feel like i am still pulling the knife out of my heart from the strip sack touchdown in the Ohio state semifinals game yet here we are a month from the start of a new season. -

I've noticed that even though Peyton has repeatedly said Barron is a corner, some Broncos fans continue to argue he'll be safety or nickel. I'm sure Jahdae will move around, but you don't draft a safety with the twentieth pick. -

Agree. Bizarre post: Think this is code for… other teams weren’t pursuing him hard either and this is his way of trying to generate some buzz on others’ radar as a Texas ‘commit’ who’s decided to ‘soft decommit’…..Is that a thing if Sark never accepted your commitment? lol. 😳😂

Lucky for Sark, Mama is past her prime in the ring. Good luck to the young man.

She's just not that into you. Weird post to make publicly, but okay. Onward.

Hope Quinn kills it at Miami. He was all class (despite getting hate at times and hearing how the fans preferred QB2) and killed himself to be on the field for the Horns, bringing us from 5-7 (year before he arrived) and got us right on the edge of playing in the national championship two consecutive years. Sark rightfully feels indebted to Quinn and these idiots who bash him are clueless. He wasnt perfect (no QB is) but Quinn put us on the map of Top 10 teams the past 2 years and he deserves a ton of respect / appreciation from Longhorn Nation imho. Hook em!! 🤘🏼🐂🧡

35 Days Until Kickoff — Who Is Your Favorite No. 35?

#85 for Arkansas has to hate this picture. That is the definition of blocked on your ass. -
Sad for the kid. Not getting a formal offer when you want one is hard. Hopefully Sark didn’t string him along, but it sounds like he was honest and told the player that Texas isn’t taking him. I hope he finds a good spot and thrives.

Hope he figures the health stuff out. Boulder is a very tough place to coach in this landscape. Would make sense for him to hang it up, especially with all his kids moving on now.
