OTF Premium Defining players for the 2026 team

I feel like Geffridge belongs on the list. I realize the idea was to lower his snap count, but does he prove too good to keep off the field? -
Hard to keep up with all the NCAA eligibility requirements. But I assume Ty has to take classes somewhere this fall to stay on track to be eligible for the 27 football season. . But can't portal until Jan? Just wondered since this is a unique case it seems. Doubt he will attend class at UT of course, and the scholarship being gone etc. Sure if somebody wants him they always find a way it seems lol. I mean to get him at their school to be ready for 27 offseason. And no I don't think a judge can help him play in 26 haha. But guess I should never say never !

The human race would be more fitting description!

I don't think it's a coincidence that when Colin Simmons was naming defensive leaders yesterday, two of the three he mentioned were Biles and Cryer. I don't think this will hurt the culture. Will some guys be hurt by what's happened? Sure, that's expected. But if this team is as focused as they say they are, this one moment won't cause the culture to falter.

I hope Masunas can develop into a well rounded TE. All State hands would make this offense even more dangerous than it already is. He is a proven blocker but a good year catching the ball with so much attention on the WRs and RBs will leave him 1 v 1 on likely the last resort coverage guy. Should give Texas very reasonable matchups + defenses wouldnt be able to key him to rather it was pass or run plays. -
If (when) an injury occurs to the Linebacker rotation during the season, Muschamp would plug-in one of the very talented younger Linebackers that is already on the team. At least the benefit now is that those un-tested Linebackers will have the rest of Fall Camp to get their head right with being counted on to come in to fill a gap, instead of trying to do so during the season…if that makes sense. Regardless, I’m so very optimistic about the Longhorn defense doing very well this season.

This is a crazy saga, and really concerned how this might impact the team culture this close to the season starting?! By all accounts he was a great teammate and good kid. Heck he was even one of the first players to do media this camp if memory serves. Its really hard not to want to pry abd get more answers about this whole thing!
