  1. Past hour
  2. Stewart is like Hank Aaron at the plate!
  3. Thomas singles, but Winter gets Williams to ground out to second to end the seventh unscathed. Two hits, but no runs with two left on for the Spartans in the seventh.
  4. Defensively, Texas has played a much cleaner game today than at any point through the first four.
  5. Winter allows a leadoff single. A strikeout and a 6-4 fielder's choice make it one on with two outs and the Spartans getting ready to bring the top of the order back to the plate.
  6. Freshman Michael Winter is out of the bullpen to work the seventh, replacing Ruger Riojas.
  7. Two runs on three hits with two left on in the Texas sixth.
  8. The bottom of the sixth ends with Jonah Williams striking out swinging.
  9. Texas is in the middle of its third consecutive multi-run inning.
  10. Tinney draws a walk, putting runners on first and third with two outs for Jonah Williams.
  11. Righty Kyle Rudolph gets Robbins to ground out to short. It's an RBI groundout with Mendoza scoring to make it an 8-1 game.
  12. I guess my point was more why are they even replacing Larson there. Might be losing something defensively and don’t really gain anything offensively.
  13. I know it’s early and easy to praise a team that’s playing well tonight, but this team is better than last year’s team and I think it’s by a lot. May or may not win the league again but this team is deep and dangerous.
  14. Rodriguez rifles one down the right-field line for his second double of the night. It's a RISP situation for Robbins, but the Spartans will go to the bullpen first.
  15. Right now, Monsour is the only other right-handed option who can play the outfield.
  16. I’m not sure I get Gumbo being the first righty off the bench and replacing Larson. It’s not like he mashes lefties and he’s also not particularly good defensively.
  17. That's the second home run allowed by Grundman and the third of the game by the Longhorns.
  18. Anthony Pack Jr. turns on one, driving his third home run of the season over the right-field wall. It's a 7-1 lead for the Longhorns.
  19. Becerra gives another one a ride, but it dies short of the warning track in center field. One away in the bottom of the sixth.
