Not sure that’s what I said but when I comment, it’s open for all to see, comment and interpret. You are entitled to feel any way you want. Normal comprehension would say I was inclusive of your stance and your opposition but again, when commenting on posts it’s open for all interpretation and perspectives.

Nothing wrong with anything said by Mods, or members. This site exists for this very reason. We pay to comment. We pay for insider information. Check your feelings at the door. As long as no one is slamming each other in vulgar inappropriate ways, they are entitled to their opinion. If you disagree, discuss with the person you disagree with. Commenting on someone’s opinion is no better or worse than the person’s original comment. If you don’t like that people have opinions, stay off the board. I don’t agree with everything said by everyone but I choose to read, choose to comment.

I can’t help but overreact to people overreacting to me overreacting. It’s a sick cycle.

We can agree to disagree. I will probably continue to discuss until it’s resolved, then probably a little further after. That’s what this board is for. I understand your perspective but having different opinions is what gives us something to talk about.

It’s really not that deep man. Drawing a conclusion based on mods stating that it’s not disciplinary, not family related, not an injury, not a personal matter. There are 20 comments saying to get rid of him. I’m on the side of work it out and if we can. Sorry if it offends you.

Check the scrimmage thread. Gerry has responded to other people commenting about info on other boards. He doesn’t outright say what’s going on but he said it’s more than family issues and that he’s hopefully it’s resolved.

It’s been confirmed that we aren’t overreacting. There’s a rift and it’s either going to be mended or he will be moving on.

Hard not to wonder what kind of leash he would have for this from the coaching staff. I don’t get the feeling this staff will allow dissent to overshadow what the priorities are. Not the first kid to do this. I think he knows he has made a decision and it’s just not out yet. This isn’t portal season, it’s fall camp and this can’t be allowed to smolder.

Do we really think Gerry would post this void of reasoning if it wasn’t something more than personal issues? That’s not how OTF rolls. It was an update so that we are aware of potential actions.

Can’t understand how it would be remotely beneficial for either side to let this go sideways. Hoping he just needed to reset and shows back up to battle.
