If LSU wants to outbid Texas for him, Texas essential weakend LSU as a whole. LSU is already facing donor fatigue and with no real proven QB on campus after Sam, they're going to have to over spend for a QB in the portal. So like much of Lane's team they might have an explosive offense, but no real difference makers on the side of the ball that brings championships home.
