Blake Munroe replied to Blake Munroe's topic in On Texas Football Forum
A dominant defensive tackle, he recorded 29 career sacks, including a program-record 14 in 1978 (later surpassed). Acker was a four-year letterman, helped win the 1975 Southwest Conference co-title, the 1975 Astro-Bluebonnet Bowl, the 1977 Southwest Conference championship, and the 1978 Sun Bowl (42-0 over Maryland). I also didn't know that Cody Campbell is not just a booster, he's on the Tech Board of Regents. Can you imagine the outrage if Kevin Eltife was the primary financial booster of Texas Athletics?
