I'm in agreement, I may be in the minority, but I think the list of jobs that are better than Notre Dame is very short. Penn St. and Florida are not on that list.

From Notre Dame to Ped State? Eesh… i like Freeman. He should take a hard pass on that one.

Freeman makes more sense for Penn State than Florida, but I’m sure he wouldn’t wanna face his alma mater like that so often. But maybe if he beats them enough or Day leaves, he’ll get the job he’s waiting for.

Lots of teams play much better at home than on the road. Fate was not our friend. Hate to see so many coaches getting fired so early in the season… especially with the fat contracts that still need to be paid off.

I am hoping we can look back and compare it to Ohio states loss to Michigan last year.

I hope Freeman ends up at a great school outside of the SEC. I hope Notre dame has to settle for Jimbo. He’d be perfect for their cupcake schedules.

Terry was most prominent in the RB role. But he played everywhere on offense.

The RB room is going to look much different this time next season. I have a feeling Texas will hit the portal hard and spend big $$$ to get that room to national championship level for 2026 and beyond.

A little surprised Kiffin and even Cignetti would not be more preferred. But I know nothing about the Florida program. Freeman may be able to have the best player retention. Would Cignetti then be ND best hope at HC??

That was a bad loss for Texas. But maybe a necessary one in some regards.

How about giving the players who signed up to play for him the full season of that? There might be some good players who don’t talk to other teams as long as their coach is still there. I like CDCs method. Have your new guy ready to announce when you pull the trigger.

Marcus Freeman is the No. 1 target, for Florida and Penn State, as he absolutely should be when looking at a tremendous hire for 8-10 years for a school like Florida.

Haha @Joe Zura I was told that Sunday that Napier will likely be fired prior to the Georgia game. If he upsets Georgia and goes on a little run to get to 7-5, that's not the desired outcome.
