Both Florida and Michigan had so much length this past year. Feels like you need that kind of length to be a serious contender. Like multiple skiled guys over 6-9 who can defend and run the floor. Doesn’t seem like we are quite there yet.

Differently than what? Like our coach says, anything can happen in a 3 game series. The best teams routinely don’t win 3 games series.

The ball being bigger unquestionably makes it easier to hit. Do you think a bowling ball is not easier to make contact with than a bb, at equal speed? A straight 97 mph fastball is easier to hit than an 87 mph slider with high spin rate. Anyone who watches baseball knows this. You have more reaction time with the slider but it’s moving away from your bat during that extra time so it’s harder to hit. You cannot survive in MLB throwing nothing but straight 97 mph fastballs. You have to sacrifice reaction time for movement.

It also has less distance available to curve away from your bat. And of course the ball is like 50% bigger.

Who would thought that “Milan Momcilovic’s” name, image, and likeness is worth $6M. Just think what he’d be worth if more than 40 people knew who he was!

Thought the same thing. He was clearly running on fumes in the seventh. Not sure they had a better option though.
