  1. Past hour
  2. Priest Anthony Holmes 33. Injury-career at UT, but great post-season highlights in the 94 Sun Bowl and initial Big XII championship game in St. Louis. Terrific NFL career as UDFA for Baltimore and FA for the KC Chiefs.
  3. I ll never forget watching that game live, I was a freshman in high school and pretty sure I never sat down the whole game lol Coach Anderson had a grin for months after that not even a bad workout could whip off lol
  4. I’m thinking along these lines. I for sure think Arch can throw for 4k, but I don’t think he will have to. I’m bullish on our O’line and run game this year.
  5. All are worthy and recent. I wish I could remember some older numbers besides Holmes and Simmons.
  6. Got my alarm ready for 8:20. Let's go..
  7. I will say this for what it's worth ... I never put a "Hi" next to him for a reason
  8. I wouldn’t believe me either.
  9. Today
  10. Current No. 33 is freshman DT Myron Charles. Also a shoutout to David Gbenda as the most recent No. 33 to see the field.
  11. We are 33 days away from Texas opening their season against Ohio State in Columbus. Who is your favorite No. 33 to play for the Longhorns? Some options today include… Priest Holmes Edwin Simmons D’Onta Foreman
  12. Coffee and Football is the place to be starting at 8:15 AM. We will bring you the latest Longhorns news and take your questions.
  13. These things happen. They rarely are made public.
  14. I think Hutson is underrated. Started as a Fr and got lots of reps his Soph year (before being injured) and as a Jr. Think he'll do well at C.
  15. Maybe a weird question to ask still a bit out from the season, but what are the projected starters? I know the boys will eventually get to that but what are people thinking?
  16. I’m not exactly sold on hutson being some kind of upgrade until proven otherwise. I forgot where i seen it, But he had like the worst run blocking grade of any of our offensive lineman last season.
  17. Honestly, I agree. I think we do beat them. Think our front 7 is going to give not only Ohio State but pretty much any team complete fits. It's not that we don't have things we had to replace, but I'm confident in what we retained and what was brought in and coming up, that this will be a great for Texas.
  18. Ironically, I think the WR's we have, Arch probably has a great connection with. Maybe even the TE's. The addition of guys like Mosley and Endries will help, too. But I think Wingo is going to h ave a huge year. Not only with more reps, but with his connection with Arch. What are expecting the starting group and 2 deep to look like?
  19. The Arch shimmy after the DeAndre TD... (roughly 22 sec mark) 🤘
  20. Happy to bring them to you!
  21. I really don’t get the caleb downs hype. The only two memories i have of him is getting burnt like toast by xavier for that first touchdown in bryant denny in 2024 and getting mushed into the turf by gunnar in the semifinals game last season.
  22. Sark has to be licking his chops getting ready for Ohio State, that secondary is in trouble. Yeah yeah yeah Caleb Downs, the further away from the line of scrimmage he is the less likely he's going to make the play. He has speed and a good tackler but he has poor eye discipline. Take advantage of he aggressive play and lack of eye discipline.
  23. It won't just be the redzone offense. The offense under Arch might not be as efficient as it was with Quinn, but it will be more explosive. I know we all were tired of bubble screen, and running back swing passes. The difference between Quinn and Arch is, once you touch Quinn he got happy feet, Arch will stand in there and deliver the throw on time on target.
