Miami Potentially Going Independent?

Hasn’t ND been independent for decades. I don’t think we are ever bullying them to join. Instead we keep giving them breaks or special rules to join the cfp -

Miami Potentially Going Independent?

I get why they want to leave the ACC but I feel like this will just create more independents when instead we could all just bully Notre Dame into joining a conference! -

What Is Your Optimism for Saturday
Sanka Decaf replied to CJ Vogel's topic in On Texas Football Forum
Texas starts first on offense (regardless of who wins the toss). Texas scores. Texas stalls and Ole Miss puts up around 20 in the first half. Get's over-confident. Texas switches QBs to start the second half and the offense starts to move. 3Q is a bit of a shootout, but Texas inches closer. The crowd is back in it and Texas makes a comeback in the 4th Q. Whoever has the ball last scores to win the game. If all this plays out this way, I think it's Texas winning. -
Uh idk, I’m just hoping we’re not as bad as we look and we get over whatever type of yips this team has. Hoping that Sark can break his team and offense out of slump and prove that he is still one of the best coaches in CFB

What Is Your Optimism for Saturday

None until Sark shows he's committed to changing what he does to the needs of the team. I have no confidence or reason to believe that his ego will let him do that -
0.0% just like Blutarsky's gpa in Animal House. When I see video of Arch simply not looking, seeing open receivers and the OL with lookout blocks, I have ZERO confidence this ship is righted this year. Not with Flood, not with Arch.

I am almost guaranteeing more Cooper on Saturday.

What Is Your Optimism for Saturday

Not optimistic because of sarks stubbornness but I'm hoping Derrek Coopers name wasn't in invisible ink on the injury report like he was last week. Last time we saw him he looked like Texas best running back vs Oklahoma. -

Without conference title games being a thing with a 24 team playoff this doesn't surprise me. -

Miami Potentially Going Independent?
Assistant Regional Manager replied to CJ Vogel's topic in On Texas Football Forum
Considering their football schedule this year, they already have some good practice with being independent. -
This is the optimism tread CJ! Biles has knack for creating them. Give us more hopium!

I have to think the defense eventually creates a turnover. It's a bummer the last person to create a turnover chance is now expected to be sidelined (Simmons).
-
That is a pretty big statement from the university president.

I’m optimistic that because it’s desperation time, we’ll see an uptick in snaps from Bishop/Cooper. And that the law of averages comes into play and the defense finally causes some turnovers.
