Going to give the benefit of the doubt one more time for this team 37-34 Texas, our defense will plays okay but Ole Miss will make some plays due to how elite the Qb is. Idk how Texas gets to 37 but they need to score 30+ to win this game somehow

My reasoning is we have just had 2 offensive guru wonder boys flame out. I think it's time to go defensive oriented football coach, If I were to rank the above list I posted with this in mind I'd go: 1. Bob Chesney - Younger 2. Willie Fritz - Older 3. Marcus Freeman - Fantastic resume but some questionable losses 4. Jake Dickert 5. Glen Schumann 6. Will Stein 7. Rhett Lashlee 8. Eli Drinkwitz

I wouldn’t completely rule out someone like Ryan Day. If Ohio State’s season goes sideways with Sayin out, the pressure on Day could ramp up again. He’s won a national title, knows how to run an elite program, and has dealt with championship expectations. That’s the kind of proven coach I could see CDC pursuing.

We have a top tier coach. we have a top tier NIL for bball now too just like the many said we would when we have the right coach just like we said we would when we fired Terry. The guy that should NEVER have been the coach https://www.cbssports.com/college-basketball/news/nil-roster-spending-value-tiers-ncaa-hoops-2026-27-season/ -
Per Chris Carter - Manning Family set Arch up

This was probably one of the best video breakdowns of Arch that I've seen. Arch is thinking too much and it's affecting every other area of his game. I think his family wanted him to play for Sark because of the pro-style offense but it's just not working out for him. And we don't have the personnel up front to run it because we can't run the ball. The onus is on Sark to fit the offense to his personnel and he isn't doing it. Which I don't get because he says he sits down with Arch to find out what he likes and where his strengths are. There's a disconnect. Just because you have 5 stars doesn't mean you can be plug and play. -

Does not sound good -
If we trot out the same game plan of a short lived script and nothing built in that plays to Arch’s strengths and mitigated his inability to process reads after it this weekend we deserve to lose. We need to see noticeable positive developments on offense through the second and third quarter. Anything short of noticeable changes is tilting at windmills insanity.

I was hoping Arch would be another Colt McCoy for us but seeing it play out closer to Garrett Gilbert is just painful…. -
2027 Women's Softball Thread

I haven't read about any predictions for 2027 season yet, but the general consensus is that the top three teams are Texas, OU, and Texas Tech. The other SEC teams Tennessee, Alabama, Georgia, Florida are also top contenders along with ATM. Outside of the SEC, it's likely to be UCLA. Time will tell if Nebraska is able to keep any momentum w/ Frahm-Bahl graduating. Texas will be the favorite heading into the season as they bring back Kavan and Stewart and replaced their graduating seniors with a pretty stud transfer class. OU still has an extremely potent offense, if any of their pitchers turn out to be elite, they will be a hard out as usual. Tech of course bought like 90% of their team. Everyone will be watching to see how Terry performs as the staff ace now that Canady is gone. Hopefully it's going to be a fun season to follow, but I'm a bit cautious after what's happened with a supposedly loaded football and volleyball team this year. -
UAB are the Blazers but have a dragon as a mascot. I think you’re on to something.
