Borba, Mendoza, A-Rod, Schuess and Williams have the right mentality for high leverage baseball, the rest of the team is mentally weak for the most part.

The "system school" thing, I don't agree with. UTSA is a good baseball team. I said this earlier today, but you don't fluke your way to a 40-win regular season. The schedule argument is fair if you're talking about the team's ceiling being lower than the resume suggested, especially after Spencer got hurt. But Texas shouldn't apologize or feel bad for winning 22 conference games. There won't be an asterisk next to Texas winning the SEC in 2025.

It was a way better season than anyone could imagine. Haven’t played much good baseball since the Arkansas series. Good year for Schloss first year but we need to get way better to contend in Omaha. They’ve recruited good and with the portal, we’re not that far off.

Wow, outscored 15-2 by UTSA since the 4th inning of game 1. 😳 The really good news from the way things are going down the stretch, Schloss is going to be extra motivated to strengthen all parts of the offense, defense and pitching through the portal. 2026 team should be solid. 🧡🤘🏼🐂

Our struggles against quality competition on the road, the SEC teams not looking great overall in post season so far, then the potential quick flameout against a system school. All of that makes the “favorable schedule” argument for the regular season SEC title sound more fitting to me.

I could tell that by the end of the 3rd lol, same stuff that was happening the last 2 times we’ve played them are happening again. I hope they go portal crazy cause man, this is bad.
