Arch has what’s called in the game of golf, THE YIPS! If can get rid of them we will win this game. If not, we need 17 points to from our defense and special teams to have a chance. Chambliss will make some plays but our defense will as well.

What would be interesting to know is what the guys on offense are thinking. We’ll never know but I can’t imagine there’s much if any confidence in the status quo.

You used one word here that struck a cord….MIND…. Arch needs a mental coach to clear his. It’s called the yips in golf and he has them.

Part of this simply over expectations. This is arch. Yall exaggerated how great he played last year in the 2nd half of the season. Even the mi game was the same cold/hot. Aggie game was terrible for most of it. Now he’s cold/cold. zero doubt he flashes a high ceiling but it’s so rare that he needs to be coached to his floor. He must flash the ceiling with greater regularity in practice and then get in his head during the game. spread is see and throw. That’s probably the best bet though I wish they’d sit him this game. Give him a week to watch.

Every game from here on is the most important game. One more loss and it’s highly unlikely we get in the playoff. Sark is coaching for his job.

Doesn't matter who the opposing defense is at this point unfortunately. Only chance in my mind is if the defense can finally get some TOs to create short field. If not, have a feeling it will be rinse and repeat of the past two games.

Did UTSA expose the biggest weakness on offense?

Somehow we are 2.5 favorites. This season goes down the drain with a loss. My hope is that we somehow finish 9 - 3 and maybe slide into the playoffs. Fanbase is negative, which is understandable. We are not playing a good defense, so if somehow we play the best offensive game of the year DKR will be rocking. Night game Must win Backs against the wall. where is the GIF of Arch on the sideline saying "I'm just going to stop giving a F***!" Where is THAT version of Arch and will we ever get it back?

For years we’ve been asking what the identity of the Texas offense is. Has anyone thought of the phrase “jack of all trades, master of none”? Sark wants to do a thousand different things(jack of all trades), which leads to zero identity(master of none). It’s why we look lost, and can’t do any single thing great/elite year in and year out.

That what makes this thing so frustrating. He's shown flashes of being able to do it, but has never truly been consistent and somehow there's less flashes than ever before while the inconsistency has risen. I think it's all mental. On the same note, the coaches are paid to get these things figured out and they have not done that with Arch through 5-6 games of poor QB play.

Blocking scheme and a poor center

I don’t believe at all that THREE coaches Nick Saban has on his teams aren’t good enough. Sark has his issues, but videos breaking down Arch show that he simply cannot perform the job of a college QB right now.
