  1. Past hour
  2. Elko should get away from that criminal organization and head up to Happy Valley 😁
  3. And collective bargaining, which was always the ultimate position for the athletes, must follow closely. Aside from a time eligibility rule it can remain professional yet college sports if the athletes are required to attend and pass classes. It only becomes a joke if like at UNC Chapel Hill not so long ago classes were completely optional. We have been there before. Paying guys who are actually matriculating is OK in my eyes. They are still student athletes.
  4. @Gerry Hamilton in shambles
  5. So players can now announce they are going pro, but wait, I could be back. I can’t keep count anymore.
  6. That would have put Texas at four high school players. I remember you saying two or three. Obviously if another five star wants to come then I am sure they would add a fourth.
  7. Nice poster by Tramon Mark. Hopefully he's fully healthy all season.
  8. He made the wrong decision on the rpo the play before on second down also when he should have handed it to Wisner.
  9. Looks like Sean Miller is working towards this kind of lineup too haha
  10. The Rockets are also expected to start 4 players who are 6’11 with 6’7 Amen Thompson at PG. Come a long way from starting PJ Tucker at center lol
  11. Looking forward to seeing if KD can help the Rockets get back to the Finals. Good article about him… interesting there are so many longhorn connections on this team! https://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/46662509/kevin-durant-pursuit-perfection-led-texas-houston-rockets Durant's comfort and familiarity extend beyond the ties with Udoka, who enters his third season at the helm in Houston. University of Texas teammate and close friend Dexter Pittman works on the Rockets' staff as an intern, and former Longhorn teammate D.J. Augustin holds a role in the front office. Durant's close friend Royal Ivey, who also played at Texas and was Durant's teammate on the Thunder, is a Rockets assistant.
  12. Today
  13. But it was no better with Neto (who the coaches spent three years evaluating) or with Stroh.
  14. Also, I think this has more similarity to Garret Gilbert than to Bradley
  15. Wish we’d thrown to Clark immediately. Worth 4 yards minimum
  16. Bradley played a couple of yrs as starting qb before DKR turned to Street
  17. You going in the paint with Cam Williams standing there? No thanks
  18. I’ve seen several throws like this where Arch is hesitant to throw though he keeps staring down the receiver. We were lucky that Wisner scored at all against FL. Quinn showed the same hesitation last year. I just assumed he was gun shy because of injuries. Maybe there’s something else.
  19. Cam Williams you say? Man you weren’t kidding about NFL players going back to college 😉
  20. I mean it’s heading to where if somebody plays two years of college and then decide to declare but they aren’t drafted they’ll have the option to come back for 3 years. Was there ever an update on the 5 years to play ? Also we already have 28 year old QBs
  21. I'd love to see what QB would be successful behind this OL. Blaming this all on Arch is just asinine.
  22. So, basically the two situations are nothing alike.
  23. Texas didn't bring them in for OV. They will go to USC Texas is all in on Austin Goosby and Cameron Williams.
  24. For sure there are. But I could see a scenario where they ultimately lose in court in a few years IMO, and an NFL player will end up being able to go play in "college" unless the NFL and NCAA/colleges get together relatively quickly and solidify the future. I guess where I come out is college sports is no longer amateur. It's pro sports now. If they are both professional, not sure a court case couldn't be won eventually - even if drafted.
  25. @Gerry Hamiltonhow you feeling on the twin bigs that are announcing tomorrow?
