  1. Past hour
  2. can’t forget to mention the current 35
  3. Bertelsen had a family member send his game film to Royal to be recruited. At a homecoming dinner in Wisconsin, even LBJ attended. He lived in San Marcos until his recent passing. Think of him as an early version of Jonathan Brooks. Very smooth. I sure wish OTF would have Ted Koy and Bill Bradley on before it is too late. Maybe Duke Carlisle? They were the pioneers of great Texas football teams. 🤘🏻🤘🏼🤘🏽🤘🤘🏾🤘🏿
  4. Every Edge showed up Ojo in the 5⭐ camp. I do not know how Texas appraises Kreul, but a speedy Edge in the hand now would compliment Henderson if he flipped. Kreul wants Texas to push or he would be an OU commitment already.
  5. "There's nobody who's able to cut like Bijan in the NFL," Barkley said for the NFL Top 100 countdown. "There's not. You can go argue with your mom about that, I'll be honest. Trust me -- I love myself and I think I have great cuts, and there's nobody. The way he's able to -- his vision, his agility and he can catch the ball, too. So it's gonna get scary for a lot of people as he continues to figure it out." 6. Also a shoutout to Edwin Freeman, the linebacker out of Arlington Bowie. He was one of my favorite recruits to cover.
  7. Gotta mention this guy when talking 35 at Texas…even if it is basketball!
  8. We are down to just 35 days before the season opener in Columbus. Which Texas player that donned No. 35 over the years is your favorite? An option today includes… Jim Bertelsen Bertelsen was a standout tailback during the wishbone era from 1969 to 1971. He played a key role in Texas’ success, including the 1969 and 1970 national championships, rushing for 2,510 yards and 33 touchdowns over his college career. Known for his speed and versatility, he was a two-time All-Southwest Conference selection and later played in the NFL with the Los Angeles Rams.
  9. Never heard of the second one, but I enjoy the other three… I’ll have to check that out.
  10. Today
  11. I have a feeling we're not landing him, but what I've seen of him, he's very impressive. Great upside for an Edge prospect. I believe he was the one who gave Ojo the run around in that camp a few weeks back, no?
  12. Kreul is pronounced Krell
  13. 3rd and Longhorn Pate On3/Rivals SEC Shorts Matt Mitchell Various liberal podcasts
  14. Sports OTF 3rd & Longhorn Josh Pate New Heights Non-Sports This Past Weekend (Theo Von) Are You Garbage Kill Tony JRE
  15. I know Ogden's visit is scheduled for the Ohio State weekend. Miller told Rothstein a couple of months ago that he's going to the Ohio State game. How does that work? Are they taking Bo Ogden to the Ohio State game?
  16. I used to do this. After 21 years I got divorced and now live in peace with no daily drama. Hook 'Em!
  17. This is such an insult to season ticket holders. What poor value for what we pay.
  18. Oh I disagree with a lot he says, including his rankings. I was just pointing out that the graphic title is misleading in the sense of he personally doesn’t necessarily think Heupel is better than Smart or Sark, for example.
  19. He says Texas has "tenuous depth." Honestly, where is there "tenuous depth" on the roster, especially compared to what other programs have? I would say across every position Texas would have a top 10 depth.
  20. Yesterday
  21. That graphic is misleading. His rankings aren’t “the top coaches in college football”. They are coaches vs expectations rankings. If you want to learn more, scroll down in this article and he explains it… https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/45739570/ranking-best-college-football-coaches-last-20-years
  22. Connelly is a moron. https://x.com/CFBAlerts_/status/1948856913334042984?t=491gE8hP13_zhyBlG_NAeQ&s=19
  23. OTF is really the only sports podcast I listen to besides 3rd and Longhorn. As for other podcasts, I primarily listen to Moonshoots with Peter Diamandis. The future is AI. If I’m not listening to podcasts, I listen to Discover Weekly on Spotify. That is the most underrated algorithm on the planet. It’s constantly recommended music I’ve never heard of that immediately makes it into my rotation.
  24. @MasTecatethe number seats provided to visiting non conference teams are in the contract. Texas will provide the same number of seats to tOSU next year.
  25. There’s no way I can post the thing here, but this is worth a read. From Bill Connelly: https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/45807129/2025-sec-college-football-projections-preview
  26. @Bobby Burton. @Gerry Hamilton Seems we have a great interview waiting to happen. Especially, in the year of preNFL Ant Hill. He, along with DJ could offer a really unique insider view of the makings of an NFL LB. Just a thought
