Yeah not denying that coming back is a possibility, but we also have to be realistic... If he's the projected #1 overall pick next year he's gone and he would be pretty foolish not to go... It would also mean Texas had quite a lot of success which is good for us. The only way I really see him coming back is if he has a down year and I don't want that for him and obviously for Texas.

Don’t doubt that, but with that MO, how did they end up with Moore after Harbaugh left for the NFL. You would think they would have had a HC that had previous experience.

How long until we see Michigan’s roster fill this thread? -
I hear you but all I was saying is no one knows if he is for sure gone or not other than him and his family. They might want him to stay thru Senior year and work on his game while enjoying a last ride in college. He seems like the kind not trying to rush off to the nfl is how I see it. I know we’ll be good at QB in 2027 either way but I think it would be cool to have him back

Welcome to the Cheezit Texas IOL Tryout Bowl!

Glad they didn’t sweep it under the rug cause that’s crappy of him and not someone that should be leading a program like Michigan. So at least they set it right and didn’t look the other way like we see all the time

Arch is not coming back for another year most likely. He had a ROUGH start and there's still big time anylsts saying that come draft day this year he'd still be a 1st round pick. It's his dream to win at Texas but it's been clear that it's also his dream to get drafted #1 overall... with a strong off season and production (that I think he will have seeing the improvement he's had week after week) it's hard not seeing him go #1. If he's the project #1 he's gone, and as a Texas fan you hope that's the case cause to me that would indicate a very good year for Texas.

They can ask for a release from their NLI (or whatever they’re calling it now)

Does these mean that recruits that just signed with Michigan can reconsider?
-
That’s crazy. I’ll never understand how you can get a multi million dollar job coaching a sport only to mess it up for yourself like this.

Needs to indoor track facilities. The new volleyball area could also be the future women’s gymnasts team (going to happen soon) -
I feel the worst for Moore's wife and three daughters. What a scumbag.

The fact that our last game against the Ags was pushed aside cause of “how bad” we looked at Fl, Kentucky and Miss St shows they didn’t care about recent results and instead had their predetermined thought of who we were in their heads versus thinking we “got better” like we’re supposed to do as the season goes. Very flawed and unfortunate but can’t change it now. Just gotta do better next year

Raid them for 2-3 OL at minimum.

He’s a Sophomore. Meaning next year is his 3rd yr and he can come back in 2027 if he feels like it.

UT seeks private developers for multipurpose arena, student-athlete housing 12.10.2025 | Texas Athletics, Volleyball The project will encompass approximately 4 acres in the Athletics and Entertainment District of UT’s main campus with the arena serving as the competition home for Texas Volleyball. Share: Release from University of Texas Communications AUSTIN, Texas — The University of Texas at Austin has issued a request for proposal (RFP) to seek private developer(s) to plan, design, construct, equip, finance and operate a small multipurpose public arena to serve as the competition home for the Longhorns' four-time National Champion Women's Volleyball and an adjacent student-athlete housing facility, with minimal financial outlay from the University. The project will encompass approximately 4 acres in the Athletics and Entertainment District of UT's main campus, located north of East MLK Jr. Boulevard between Robert Dedman Drive and Interstate 35. "It is important for us to be strategic about how we use our space and how our students and visitors engage with our campus," said UT President Jim Davis. "This is a unique development that will enhance the University's athletics facilities and housing portfolio and benefit students, Longhorn fans and our city for years to come. I am grateful to our Board of Regents for their support for our vision." The arena aims to seat approximately 6,000 fans, with the flexibility to expand seating for concerts, shows and University events that complement the adjacent Moody Center. The student-athlete housing facility is envisioned to provide a best-in-class housing experience for the University's student-athletes that reflects UT's commitment to recruiting and developing premier talent. Additionally, it could provide ground-level retail opportunities that will enhance the campus, community, and visitors' experience. Skip Ad "This is a critical step for the future of Texas Volleyball and our student-athletes' housing experience," said Athletics Director Chris Del Conte. "It is about creating an experience that our student-athletes, coaches and passionate fans will be proud of in the heart of a district built for elite talent and entertainment." The RFP seeks private developers who have successfully developed and operated best-in-class, multipurpose public arenas, student housing and retail facilities, and who have the financial capability to contribute all or a substantial portion of the cost to develop, build and operate the new facilities. Under the proposed public-private collaboration, UT would own both the arena and student-athlete housing properties, and an outside entity would operate them. UT issued the RFP Dec. 10 after the UT System Board of Regents authorized it last month. The 2033 Higher Education Development Foundation will lead the RFP process, and developer(s) will have the option to submit proposals for both or each facility by Feb. 6. The specific timeline and financial arrangement between the University and developer(s) will be determined through negotiations before any agreement is reached. RELATED

Not to be a Karen, but I do feel for the women who were involved in this. There was clearly a power dynamic at play, and it must be traumatizing to have to watch something you probably feel shame about unfold so publicly. I hope they are taken care of by the university. What a rotten program it must be at UM.
