I say this as someone that likes Jeff and Rob ... these guys act like Colorado was a bad team. They weren't some bad/terrible team. They went 17-16 and 7-11 in a damn good Big 12. They had 7 losses by less than 10, and some of those were really good teams that they played from 2 to 6 points in conference play. I tend to believe people underestimate Isaiah being Chris Johnson's kid. He''s groomed for this move to full time team runner. Not every game or stretch will be high-end, but he will be fine after a short adjustment. BTW, I have Florida as the easy pick to win the SEC preseason. The Denzel Aberdeen waiver situation does impact their ceiling IMO. SEC going to 9 game conference schedule only further supports 24 team playoff. SEC would get 8-9 teams in every year and they’d be better prepared for playoff run after facing depth of SEC First 8 get week 1 bye 9-16 host 17-24 1-8 host winners in week 2 Everything else the same: Week 3 on NY Day with 4 bowl games (1 on NYE) followed by Semi finals and finals. Time to finalize and let’s stop looking at conf s heduke as a negative. It’s huge positive once you make playoffs, better prepared for deep run.

Disagree. Georgia is the best team in the SEC until someone takes it from them. Disagree. Pete Golding is a defensive minded HC and losing Kiffin/Weis Jr.'s playcalling could cause them to regress offensively more than they think, even with Chambliss and Lacy returning. Disagree. I think Georgia or Texas will have the best defense in the SEC. Agree. He could be a finalist if Texas has the season many think they will. Agree. The extra conference game increases the chance for an extra loss that could keep you out of the CFP. Vandy went 10-2 last season and still got left out of the dance.

They're doing horrible marketing the league, with Pickens, Atwood, Canandy... along with some many other high profile players coming in from a very popular college softball you'd think their partners from MLB would really get behind it so that the league doesn't collapse or they don't have to wait 30 years like the WNBA. Women sports are really taking off.
